So good, highly recommend! - Edit
I chose this place as it seemed one of the cheaper places in the area on Happy Cow. It was so good! You get pitta falafels, salad bar and sauces. The falafels are fresh and it was great to have plenty of veg with the meal. If you choose the falafel container you still get a pitta on the side so it's a really hearty meal for a great price.

Waited four years! - Edit
Still the best falafel I’ve had. I discovered Pilpel in 2018 on a business trip and it was the first place I went for lunch on the next trip. It’s just so darn good! The salads and sauces are amazing and the falafel is crunchy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside.

I love this place so much
Read moreThe falafel is crispy, the honours is silky, the pickles are tie everything together
I try to go every time I am in London . There are two in spitalfield market, the one I’ve reviewed here I think is usually closed at weekends, the the one inside the market tends to be open!

The best! - Edit
Pilpel are hands down the best falafel in London, even better than the ones I had in Tel Aviv. Salads are tasty and you get lots of variety. Nice touch when you get a free falafel whilst you wait! The bowl keeps you full for ages.

tasty food, shame about the plastic - Edit
can't go wrong with this falafel, freshly prepared and tasty
Read moreshame about using plastic bowls as compostable containers would do the job much better

SO GOOD - Edit
Absolutely loved the falafel balls and the selections of salads to accompany. The staff were also heaps friendly. The only thing that really bothered myself and my friend was that they use plastic containers/cutlery regardless if you dine in or not. Wish they were a bit more environmentally friendly :)

very nice - Edit
Great place with everything vegan apart from extras egg and halloumi. Falafel are fresh crunchy and tasty. If critical a bit grainy also the bread was fresh but not the baked on site stuff. I have just come back from Athens so I'm a bit over critical a solid 4/5 and would go back 👍🏾

Wow - Edit
This place rocks! I didn't have such high expectations but I'm a fala-fullllll off this giant sandwich stuffed with fresh salad and the best falafel I've had in London! Also, I was the picky customer asking for things on the side, but the staff was just lovely. I'll probably be back tomorrow.

Best falafels! - Edit
Pilpel has the best Falafel I have tasted around London. The prices are very reasonable especially for the huge portions and quality of food they offer. Always visit here when I am in the area.

Good for a filling vegan lunch - Edit
I have eaten here for lunch recently, and several times before then. It's nice that you can create your own combination, and the staff are nice and friendly. The portions are large and nice and hot - they don't skimp on the falafel, which is yummy. My only criticism is that the salad extras aren't the best - they don't feel especially fresh but perhaps they're just not to my taste.
