Updated: staff has uneven understanding of veganism

Previously I was told that the default crust here was non-vegan and that the cauliflower crust was vegan. This is wrong, I was misled. Eating there again and having a waiter who really took the time to talk with the chef, I’ve learned that the standard crust *is* vegan, but the cauliflower crust has both dairy and eggs. Which means I was led before into non-vegan options by a server who doesn’t understand that vegan has nothing to do with gluten free.

As far as pizza with just tomato and veggies goes, my food was good this time, but I have to adjust my review down to reflect the fact that clearly their wait staff is not given any guidance on what is and is not vegan. It would be *so easy* to just have a little note for waiters behind the bar, but instead it’s up to the individual employee to either know or not know what veganism is, which means you’re going to have inconsistent answers and you cannot trust them to explain what of their food is vegan.
