Delicious Boiled or Pan Fried - Edit
We enjoyed our first trip to Pierogies House this weekend. Vegan options were clearly marked and my husband and I split the onion/potato and sauerkraut/potato pierogis. They came with vegan sour cream to boot!
Read moreThe staff was super friendly and was able to accommodate our group of nine for a Saturday lunch. I suspect they are busier during the weekdays as they are right across from the train station.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options, friendly staff

Great pierogis!! - Edit
We got the butternut squash and lentil/mushroom pierogis! Both were very tasty! Service was a little slow but we didn't mind or say anything about it and the owners still brought us some blueberry dessert pierogis to apologize for the wait- so nice of them!

Great vegan pierogis - Edit
Not sure I’ve had good pierogis since I went vegan, but these hit the spot. Boiled ones tasted authentic; butternut squash was good and lentil was even better. Good stop while passing through on the highway

So happy to find vegan Pierogies!! - Edit
Separate vegan menu with rotating vegan specials. The Pierogies were great! I got lentil mushroom and my husband got sauerkraut onion. We both thought ours were better. Unfortunately no vegan desserts listed.

Nothing bad to say, but nothing good either - Edit
I like that they have a gave the vegan items their own section, however, there are only three and they’re pretty boring options. I got the potato and onion pierogies, and I have nothing bad to say about them. Standard. They could add a fun vegan pierogi or a vegan dessert.

SO Impressed! - Edit
Wow, these pierogis were awesome. I was so impressed they had vegan selections. I ordered the potato & onion and the lentil stuffed pierogi. The former was what I expected…very good but just carbs stuffed with carbs. The latter was beyond expectations. I thought the lentils were going to be dry, but no they were moist and delicious. Highly recommend. It was cool to be able to choose between boiled and fried pierogis. And served with apple sauce and their uncannily delicious vegan sour cream (they really did a good job with it) made for a scrumptious meal!

Great option in Morristown! - Edit
I stopped in this restaurant to get lunch to go. They had several different vegan options. I tried the vegan pan-fried potato and onion pierogies and lentil and mushroom pierogies. They also came with vegan cashew sour cream. Everything was delicious! I will definitely come back next time I’m in the area. I would highly recommend this restaurant, as it caters to both vegans and non-vegans.

Great Tasting Vegan Pierogis! - Edit
It’s hard to find place with labeled vegan options, but the pierogi house has you covered. They explicitly let you know which options are vegan. They either boil the pierogis or pan fry them in oil. They even have vegan sour cream so let them know that you’re vegan! The staff was nice and I would definitely recommend this place!

Awesome ! Delicious!! - Edit
I was here last Saturday and I had Small Vegan Potatoes and Onion pan fried with caramelized onions! They were unbelievable! And what I liked the most is that the pierogies came with VEGAN SOURCREAM!! Which was delicious! I had also git a cup of Lentils and Squash soup and for dessert butternut squash.

WOW - Edit
This place is just amazing. It has few vegan options, but certainly enough and they’re super delicious. The server was so sweet and nice, I think her name is Jelena. The best part is the vegan pierogis are the same one than the normal ones.

Breakfast options - Edit
I’m always excited to see vegan breakfast entrees and Morristown Pancake House does not disappoint! Specials always include a vegan option too. Challah French Toast is amazing. Tofu scrambled & skillets. Blueberry limón (special) pancakes are the best!!

Fresh and Delicious - Edit
I had a long wait for my perogies because they had run out of vegan dough and I had to wait for them to make more. Honestly, I didn't mind because I knew they were being freshly made by hand and they were worth the wait. I got the lentil/mushroom with a side of carmelized onions and the vegan sour cream. So, so good! I only wish they had a sampler platter (or that I had brought a couple of friends with me) so that I could have tried all 3 of the vegan flavors. But I'm sure I'll be back to try another one the next time I'm passing through the area!

So good! - Edit
They have a few vegan varieties. (Lentil/mushroom was especially good.) They also have vegan sour cream. But be sure to specify *vegan sour cream. I know it seems obvious, but I was given regular my first time there. Next few visits, all good!

Must try!! - Edit
Would have given 5 stars if they were fully vegan! The three options they have for vegan are:
Read morePotato / onion
Lentil / mushroom
Sauerkraut / onion
I tried potato / mushroom and was super happy to taste these lovely little pockets of joy again! There's not many non-cheese ones around here or in stores. Now I have a vegan pierogi spot in Jersey 👏👏
Pros: Potato + onion pierogies were delicious!, Quick takeout service, Best vegan sour cream ever had maybe
Cons: Beware of oil spills from the takeout carton
