Cool bar, good food - Edit
While I only ate the pierogi here, I appreciated that there were several more marked vegan options on the menu. The bar is dive bar-esque and chilled out. I went on Tuesday where pierogi is 75c cheaper per piece, which is a good deal. On the day I went, I had potato and sauerkraut, one with corn with jerk spices, and broccoli.

First, I have been here many times years ago. I was back in Cbus visiting and stopped back in. The vibes were immaculate

Cbus staple - Edit
I always stop by for some pierogis and sauerkraut balls when I’m in town! The pierogi flavors have always been hit or miss. Some are AMAZING and some are fine, but it doesn’t stop me. I love Pierogi Mountain 🫶

So many choices! - Edit
Vegan pierogi and other Hungarian/baltic dishes!! They even had a bunch of non-alcohol beers.😄
Read moreWe got:
Potato, Sauerkraut & Mushroom pierogi, Hungarian Lecso pierogi and Haluski which is buttery braised cabbage, onions, carrot &
radish over kopytka noodles with vegan kielbasa.
Everything was fantastic, though a bit greasy, but let's face it you're not eating pan-fried pierogi and expecting health food. I'm definitely coming back to try the poutine, dessert and schnitzel when I'm in Cbus again.
Service was friendly and efficient.
Bathrooms are clean and come with some uplifting wall art.

Unique - Edit
So many vegan options that it was hard to choose! I was a little disappointed in the pierogies, but the poutine and seitan sandwich were tasty. It's nice they have vegan sour cream, cheese, desserts, etc.

Pierogis were delicious!!! Great vegan options. - Edit
The resto is punk meets urban diner meets polish cuisine meets classy dive. I recommend 9/10. The vegan kielbasa was not so sausage like, was very dry and crouton-ish. I’d definitely try the Mac and cheese -maybe without the vegan kielbasa, the pierogies were perfect, but the Italian style was not my favorite.

Pros: Vegan pierogis, Large vegan menu , Affordable and Fast Service
Cons: Smaller portions , Dry and crusty vegan kielbasa , Offers no vegan cheese pierogi - lost opportunity

Great spot with great perogies - Edit
Everything I had was great!!
Read moreMake sure you specify that everything is vegan, they accidentally gave me regular sour cream instead of vegan on my latkeys. Luckily I noticed it looked a little different and asked.
The haluski was very good, the noodles are so thick and delicious. I wish there was a little more cabbage with it though. 8.5/10
The kielbasa is very flavorful but a little dry on the outside 8.5/10
The latkeys could have used a bit more seasoning, but were pretty good. 8/10
The perogies were phenomenal. I really like the more non-traditional flavor options. 9/10
Worth checking this place out!!

Amazing seitan and perogis - Edit
Very delicious food with a very cool vibe and good music. They have table seating and a really large bar. I had the potato, sauerkraut and mushroom perigi, the aloo vindaloo perogi as well as the seitan schnitzel sandwich. Everything was amazing, tasty and wish I could try everything. They are bookmarked now and if I'm passing through again, it's definitely a must stop for me.

Great vegan options and open late. - Edit
Pierogi Mt has so many wonderful vegan options. One of the owner's, is vegan, so naturally, half of their menu is as well. Of course, they have awesome vegan pierogis with rotating flavors, but they also have great seitan sausage sandwiches, Saurkraut balls, Schnitzel, Mac n Cheese, awesome Cauliflower Wings and more. Their prices are very fair and they have cheaper pierogis on Tuesdays. It is very divey, but it's all part of the charm. They have a great drink selection, and you can even end your meal with a vegan dessert! They have a lot of seating, so it's also great for groups. They're also open late and perfect after a night out.

Unique downtown find - Edit
This restaurant is in a small dive bar like building downtown. It has a fun atmosphere, and I love that they have a ton of vegan options - it's like half of their menu! The rotating pierogi flavors are unique, and I love trying a variety. They are small, but priced accordingly. There is also a vegan seitan-tofu sandwich that was pretty good, and vegan Mac and cheese and kielbasa that I haven't been able to try yet. This is a must try, especially if you love polish food and sauerkraut!

FABULOUS - Edit
Huge selection of fun vegan options and great vegan bloody mary. We had pierogi, sauerkraut balls, mushroom stroganoff, and the most delectable lemon cake with strawberry whipped cream and pistachios. We loved the cake so much we got a second one to-go for a friend’s birthday! Such a fun and affordable spot

Unprofessional - Edit
The venue was dark and dirty looking. It needs more decor. The bartender was rude and unprofessional. It looks more like a glorified bar than a restaurant. The food was tolerable. I’ve had better perogis at other Polish restaurants.

Excellent Vegan Food - Edit
This was my first time here. I tried one of each of the four vegan pierogies…all of them excellent. And I had the vegan Mac and cheese…also excellent. I like that these are already vegan by default. It was raining that evening or I would have enjoyed eating on their patio surrounded by the banana plants. But inside was nice too.

Plenty of options - Edit
I tried the mushroom stroganoff, the noodles are homemade I believe, like thick rectangles, delicious! I also tried the most popular vegan pierogi (can't recall the name) which was awesome, I was sad I only had two; if I return I would focus my meal around pierogi. I also tried the lemon cake, which was very good as well. I ordered take out and there is a rack that the orders are left on so you don't have to interact with others if you don't want to. But the vibe was very cool and I would eat in next time. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Columbus

Don’t go if you are black - Edit
We experienced terrible service due to our skin color.
Read moreI had been wanting to try pierogi mountain for quite some time and was met with racist service and mediocre food. From the time we entered the male waiter was rude to us. I’m not sure if it was because we were the only black people in the establishment or not. However, unfortunately, I suspect that to be the case. Towards the end of our meal, he asked how our food was and I told him it was mediocre. He responded by saying “word” and walking away. We alerted the acting manager and she apologized, said she would talk to the waiter, and didn’t charge us for our meal. We made this visit on the evening of Sunday, September 18, 2022.

So delicious! Unfortunately I was given a Ghost Grits I believe instead of the broccoli and “cheddar” but it was good! Latkes, Mac, Pierogis, and the lemon cake were amazing. Definitely getting again when I’m in town! Amazing vegan options!
