Chain has gone downhill - Edit
I used to love Pieminster, we don’t have one in my local city so was excited to come back and try the new vegan pie! Pie was good but unfortunately the mash and veg were very disappointing, and the dribble of gravy they offer doesn’t stretch far - another way to make money by charging for extra. Sadly I won’t be back.

I have to confess that I'd had no breakfast and it was 1pm so I was a VERY hungry vegan. The Mooless Moo pie was delicious, very succulent jackfruit and the pastry spot on. I prefer my mash fluffed up and here it is flattened with the pie balanced on top but it was still great. Quick northern cliche: the mushy peas weren't mushy enough for me, but I still ate them. Lovely friendly staff and quiet enough for me to sit and do a bit of work before heading off to New St Station, so definitely a nice spot midweek for anyone looking to avoid hustle and bustle. Will definitely return. Loos are down long flight of stairs.

Food was good. Nice to have some options, mash was a bit dry but it was quite late in the day. Service was fast but it it relatively quiet when we went. Would go again

There are 4 vegan pie options on the menu. Had the mooless moo (made with jackfruit) with rosemary chips, which was really good. Pies come with onion gravy. We had vegan salted caramel ice cream as well which was nice.

This place is specialised in pies and has two clearly labeled options. I always had the Kevin which is filled with chestnut mushrooms, tomato, baby onions and thyme as well as the Feelin' Gravy which are fries loaded with caramelised onions, cheesy sauce and gravy. Absolutely delicious! I've also tried the spicy fried cauliflowers which were good but a bit dry. The vegan champ mash is also great. I absolutely miss this place in Germany!

Chain restaurant of pie shops. They have quite a few vegan options including veg pies and vegan chicken pies plus vegan gravy and sides. You can build a meal deal depending on amount of sides you would like. Left feeling full and satisfied, would go again!

Very enjoyable, lovely quality, only 2 vegan pies & 3 vegan sides. Lots of veggie options! They had a sign outside advertising the vegan options, I appreciate the effort 🙏🏻 I have attached a picture of the menu for perusal, encircled the veggie & vegan pies 😋💖

This was place was pretty good, but they were out of the chooks away pie which looked a lot better than the vegan mushroom pie called Kevin that I had to get since it’s the only other vegan option. Most of the sides are vegan, and they gave me onion gravy to go with my vegan pie. The ice cream was amazing though, which makes dessert so much more worth getting than the pie I got. I’d like to come back and try the vegan chicken pie, but the mushroom pie didn’t thrill me. The mushy peas and smoky baked beans were pretty good too.
