very good pastry - Edit
some marked (but hard to read, because the signs are faded) vegan options. we saw sweet pastry filled with raspberry, plum and cherry, and a savory one filled with eggplant. everything we tried was very good, served hot, heavy with lots of fresh fruits (no jam) inside. These are not small, delicate pastrys, these are real-food, perfect to start a cold winter morning, proper sized pastrys.
Read morebeware, the chocolate-poppy seed one is marked vegan but contains honey. the ingredients are marked with each item in polish and english, make sure to read them (staff can't speak english very well)

Not vegan friendly - Edit
I was really excited to try. I went there and asked for vegan options. The women offered me the cheese pie - after seeing my confused face she realised that this is not vegan. She told me the eggplant pie is vegan. I asked if there are more vegan offers the next days but she said no the eggplant thing is the only vegan thing they have. I didn’t buy the eggplant one because I am not sure if she understood the word „vegan“.

Bakery offering some vegan options like sweet pastry. I ordered raspberry one and it was delicious. Vegan options are clearly labeled, vegetarian too so be careful. I can recommend.

I went in due to the good reviews, asked the girl behind the counter "do you have any vegan options" her reply was "by vegan, you mean no meat?" seemed unsure what vegan meant when I explained further and pointed to one pastry, but I couldn't be sure, so we left!

Wrong vegan labeling - Edit
We ordered the strawberry one, the one with eggplant and tomato and the vegan one with spinach. The staff told me the vegan one contains cheese and is not vegan. I was surprised and asked again and they reassured that the vegan labeling seems to be wrong. They did not seem to care. I asked if they could change the labelling but they did not really care. I‘m wondering which other label Ist potentially wrong. Make sure to ask if the food is really vegan.

but when I asked, they told me they have only 2 vegan, one was the one with aubergine and one I don’t even remember exaclty if she said beetroot or something else, I was stunned as that one was labeled as vegetarian. I told the girl that it is labeled vegetarian, not vegan, no reaction and as there was a queue I took the aubergine. I had it take away and ate it in the near-by park. It was good.

Grabbed a pastry from here for breakfast. Several vegan options which were all clearly labelled! I had a blackcurrant puff and it was a great mix of tart & sweet and also quite large so struggled to finish!

Everything we had was delicious, I’d give five stars if I could. The seasoning was so good, the dough even better! The choice for vegan sweet stuff is good, for savoury food it could be better. Vegetarians have a bigger variety to choose from.

We were staying in Gdansk for a month and were struggling to find a place with a nice bread! Despite the fact that there were quite few backers around all breads tasted terrible ( we felt sorry for ppl of Gdansk) anyway while we stayed there this bakery opened and we were desperate to try it out! It was sooo good! Totally recommend this place!
