Vegan Oizza available - Edit
They have Vegan cheese available for an up charge ($3) but don’t put very much cheesze on the pizza.
Read moreThe topping options are very good. Like breaded eggplant, broccoli & portobello.
Good beer and friendly staff also.
Pros: Vegan cheeze available for pizza
Cons: They are skimpy with the cheeze and upcharge

Gluten free crust is vegan - Edit
We had a great dinner at Piecasso. I’m allergic to wheat, but their gluten free crust is vegan. I got a rare pizza out, and I customized it with vegan cheese, broccoli, Kalamata olives, and red onion. The gluten free pies aren’t huge, but it was perfect for me. The Stowe recreational path runs right behind the restaurant, and it is a great spot for a walk.

Some of the best vegan pizza in New England - Edit
The crust is amazing and their sauce has a nice sweetness to it that is incredible. All veggies were fresh and service was great!

Upscale pizza - Edit
The thin crust was somehow light and fluffy, and they used the right amount of cheese, unlike some places that blob on a ghastly amount. Great Italian wine selections by the glass. Fun to see all the people coming in with their ski gear on. Seemed like it could be a nice town gathering place. I should have gotten the roots bowl but so seldom get to have pizza. I was just passing through and am glad to have tried this place. Cute stickers too!

Get the Roasted Roots Bowl - Edit
I Don’t always love vegan cheeses. They taste sticky to me (unless a home made cashew cheese) so I definitely recommend the Roasted Roots Bowl and I added tempeh. It’s delicious!

Decent tasting pizza but expensive - Edit
We had to wait around 20 minutes for a table but it was fine.
Read moreWe ordered diet coke and were given Dr Pepper which we had to send back but that was fine as well.
We asked what vegan options they had and its basically veggies and vegan cheese. The tomato base and white base they use had cheese in it so make sure to ask for a vegan version!
The menu has an option for “make your own” which we opted for, from what we could understand 7 toppings were included and extra was 2,5$ each however when the bill came I understood that none was included and all were 2,5$ each. I didn’t even have many toppings on mine but the pizzas worked out extremely expensive. With just the dough and the tomato base costing 18$ it’s daylight robbery. Also we are from the EU and we had no idea that they don’t put sweet corn on pizzas in the US and when I asked for it the waiter somehow heard it as “sweet sausage” and they gave me an all vegan pizza with meat. Which is quite bad, especially after spending minutes establishing we want everything vegan. Pizzas tasted alright but worked out to be over 30$ each which was extremely expensive for us.

Yummy vegan pizzas - Edit
Piecasso has added fully vegan options to its yummy pie menu. You can order vegan crust (I didn't know their regular crust was not vegan, oh well), vegan red sauce, vegan cheese and a slew of fabulous toppings. Yesterday we got fried eggplant slivers and spinach, with vegan cheese, and it was perfect. Crunchy bottom crust, chewy on the sides, not too much cheese (I think it was Daiya, okay but not great brand so a little goes a long way), flavor and mouthfeel were perfect. Thank you, Piecasso!

Pros: Vegan pizza, Great service, really nice people, Finally have a place we can eat there with our dog
Cons: Nice outdoor porch but dogs are not allowed, If you have a dog have to sit close to busy road, REALLY popular so get there early!

Beer & Pizza - Edit
We've been going to Piecasso for on our yearly trip to Stowe for years and although their menu was a dream for a younger, vegetarian me things are a little trickier now that I'm vegan. They do label their menu well and offer vegan cheese and tempeh that can be added to just about anything. Their red pizza sauce contains cheese though so you have to ask them to use the marinara pasta sauce instead which they seem happy to do just wish the substitute wasn't necessary. They also have a black bean and sweet potato burger that's delicious and you can order a Greek salad wrap without the Greek dressing and it has hummus and veggies!

Excellent Pizza! Helpful staff! - Edit
I placed an online order for one Vienna pizza without cheese and one with vegan cheese but made a note “no dairy or meat” please and they called me right away to let me know there was pesto w/ dairy on the Vienna so they accommodated by making the pizzas without pesto and without cheese (one with vegan cheese only) and both were fantastic!!! The care they took to make sure the pizzas were right was really appreciated. 5 stars for that! Just wanted to say thanks! Pizza was very flavorful , not heavy, and nice dough/crust.

Great vegan option in Stowe - Edit
Excellent pizza, worth the drive to Stowe, even with the traffic and congestion of this tourist area. Vegan options are listed on the menu, including (especially for pizza lovers) vegan "cheese" and several crust options. Really, really, really good thin-crust pizza. Great draft beer and wine selection.

Cons: Nothing else on the menu is specifically vegan , No reservations, very popular (crowded)
