Serves meat, vegan options available. Will cater for different diets and make substitutions. Open Mon-Thu 7:00am-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 7:00am-10:00pm, Sun 7:00am-9:00pm.
Waiter recommend pretty much the only vegan meal, the taco bowl. It was delicious with a variety of items. Was a bit light of a meal for an active adult male. The pickled black pepper kernels were surprisingly tasty.
Tell them you are vegan in English and the service is amazing. They will respect your culture. I was very confused at first because I understand the pain and suffering around the world the British Empire has wreaked and wrought, but they fed me and catered to my needs and care about repairing harm and saving the planet here.
I've had good experiences and okay experiences here. They have a rotating seasonal menu, which can make it tricky to order. The first time I came here, I got black bean street tacos, which were great. However this last time, there wasn't anything on the menu that didn't have egg or dairy on it. The dishes were so minimal that asking for it to be removed would leave practically nothing in the meal. The special diets menu is essentially a gluten free menu. Our server was very nice and friendly and went back to the kitchen to ask the chef what they can come up with. I chose the taco bowl with cashew queso and tofu. It was good and filling with fresh ingredients, however a little bland. I like this restaurant but I wish they would have at least one vegan option on their menu.
This is my favorite restaurant in Austin even though they serve meat. They really care about their sourcing and order a lot of produce locally and support small farms.
The matcha is HANDS DOWN the best matcha I've ever had (it's vegan!!)
The cashew queso with almond flour tortilla chips are amazing along all of their vegan & vegetarian dishes. The menu changes seasonally, but they also make sure to have options for non meat eaters. They are very accommodating for any dietary restrictions.
This place is unbeatable!! (I give it a 5/5) but if they serve meat it can only be 4/5
Paleo place, but veg and vegan options. Dog friendly, too. - Edit
Love this place! One of the only places in my neighborhood where I can get compliant food and cooking practices for my Medical Medium diet. Very accommodating for any special diets or allergy.
