J’ai pris le burrito et il était ÉNORME, et pesait bien son poids ! C’est généreux et copieux. Pour manger sur le pouce, pour une pose dej ou pour prendre à emporter c’est parfait !
J’aurais peut-être aimé un peu plus de saveurs dans l’assaisonnement des ingrédients, mais à part ça, c’était très bon !

Popular small place right in the city center. The menu consists of about 50% vegan items - either bowls, sandwiches, or pastries. I have eaten here twice and both times the food was amazing. I went for a combo menu both times (main dish + drink + pastry at a reduced price) and was absolutely stuffed afterwards. Most people who come here get their food to-go, however there are a couple tables outside where you can sit.
Read moreAs mentioned, this place is quite popular, especially at lunchtime. So you may need to wait a couple minutes to place your order and get your food (nothing too long). The staff also is lovely and helpful!
If you stop by, I recommend the cinnamon roll (honestly one of the best vegan cinnamon roll I've ever had, and I've had many!).

Read moreIt's a very good place to get a sandwich or a bowl, either vegetarian ou vegan.
I eat there quite frequently, because i don't have to think a lot about what i can or can't eat... and also because most of the recipes are really good. Beware : your belly will get filled with a sandwich.
There are some "experiments" too (vebab, whick is kebab filled with mushrooms, not my favorite but ok).
You can also get some vegan cakes that are to die for.
The staff is super friendly.
Pause est devenu "Pickles" trés récemment. Le nom a changé mais les recettes non, et elles sont délicieuses ! on peut commander un sandwich, ou sa version "bowl". les repas sont plutôt copieux, même pour moi qui aie un bon appétit. J'y mange quasiment toutes les semaines, car je n'ai pas besoin de réfléchir cent ans à ce que je peux ou ne peux pas manger. Il y a parfois des nouvelles tentatives, comme le "vebab" (un kebab aux champignons, pas mon favori, mais à tester).
Je conseille les patisseries qui sont vraiment bonnes et originales.
et enfin, ce qui n'enlève rien : le personnel est vraiment sympathique.

Franchement pour une première chez Pause. Vraiment agréablement surpris tout était super bon pour avoir à peu près goûter tout ce qu'il y avait mis à part les bowl et les falafels mais en tout cas la soupe super bonne, le Kebab (wrap) aux pleurotes vraiment à tomber, le Burrito vraiment copieux et oui un kebab un Burrito 😅 et même le Roll salé aux épinards vraiment très bon surtout un peu chaud 😜 et les desserts également le Cinnamon chaud également une frappe tellement moelleux 😋 et le crumble Pistache prune super bon et copieux à la fois 😊 un Grand Merci en tout cas je reviendrai et je recommande évidemment à toute personne Vegan ou Végé ou ni l'un ni l'autre d'ailleurs vraiment une belle expérience 🙂 Au plaisir et une Bonne journée à Vous

i only stayed in lille for a few months and every week i would grab coffee and a brookie with a friend there. it had become our ritual. i swear they put addictive stuff in their vegan pastries. they’re just so good! i also had wraps and other lunch options from there. affordable and super tasty. the place is a little small so i usually sit outside, but if you need to charge your phone or be inside, the room upstairs will do just fine.

Small place close to the train station that serves sandwiches, salads and desserts. I went there three times and the food was delicious every time. The brookie is to die for! All the vegan options are clearly marked and there are a lot of them. Don't go too late or a lot of options will be gone.

Had a falafel salad... was lovely, but expensive for 4 small falafel balls, tahini, hummus, with lettuce and tomato, couple of bits of aubergine. That with some juice was €10. That said, it was tasty but “starter” sized.

I came here twice a little over a year ago. Now I went back and the portions have halved but the price stayed the same. Also you have to pay extra for plant based milk. For a place that caters to vegans thats a bit sad. The service is friendly though. Although i am also not the biggest fan of nothing being served on real plates. sure the things they use are recylable but still...

We went to Pause with a friend on a late Saturday afternoon and took a fresh and flavorful smoothie.
Read moreI also had two sandwiches on the TooGoodToGo app filled with veggies and a carrot dip. It was fresh and tasty and it changes from the usual hummus-filled vegan sandwich.
The staff is very friendly (and funny !) and the location is great (very close to the Grand Place and to the train stations Lille Flandres and Europe).
The restaurant is also on the TooGoodToGo app. Just before closing time, you can buy the restaurants leftovers at cheap prices.
We will definitely come back to taste the homemade cakes and the other dishes !
