Gelato in the Byward - Edit

Great gelato place in the Byward Market, a bit tucked away!

They have vegan chocolate, and all the flavors marked with an asterisk are vegan (if I remember correctly)!

Vegan Gelato! - Edit

I had the passion fruit vegan Gelato and it was delicious! Staff were very friendly and were aware of what was vegan and not vegan.

Pros: Vegan options , Were aware of vegan options without hesitation

Good gelato but not many exciting flavours - Edit

When I went, there were five or six vegan flavours. All but the chocolate flavour were fruit flavours that were similar to a creamy sorbet. I tried the chocolate and cherry flavours in a waffle cone (the cones are vegan). The two-scoop option is very large and cost about $7.50, including tax. The two scoops were tasty and filling.

I would be very happy to see more exciting vegan flavours. The vegan flavours—chocolate and fruit flavours like lemon and cherry—looked rather boring compared to the non-vegan flavours like pistachio and mint chocolate chip.

Pros: Vegan waffle cones and some vegan options

Cons: The vegan flavours are limited, Expensive, but filling
