Vegan pizza and bruschetta

We enjoyed eating dinner here last night while visiting our daughter. Great ambiance (can. be loud with large parties on Friday night). My daughter and I are vegan and my husband is not so we always look for spots with options for all of us. Waitress was helpful and suggested they could make bruschetta with tomatoes for us which was nice. My daughter and I split that and the vegan pizza and it was more than enough food (portions are generous). I agree with other reviews that it would be nice if they offered additional vegan options or specials (lasagna or raviolis would be amazing). However the pizza was delicious with eggplant, tomatoes, fresh basil and vegan feta cheese. They do have sorbet as a dessert option but like others have mentioned we chose to go across the street for the variety of vegan ice cream flavors that are offered. Love coming La Jolla shores area when we visit this area.

Cons: Parking can be challenging , Only one vegan option on menu

We stumbled on this place after kayaking and were pleasantly surprised

This place has one vegan pizza ( with vegan feta) which was ok. Nothing special but with a side of salad and a refreshing drink it hit the spot! The restaurant is quite upmarket but they made us feel comfortable at lunchtime despite being very casually dressed. We didn’t have desserts as there’s an ice cream place across the road with multiple vegan options.

Pros: Friendly service

Cons: Only 1-2 vegan options

No vegan cheese

Call to inquire on up to date vegan options. My experience is they have one vegan dish and no vegan cheese.

Pros: Nice atmosphere

Cons: Little for vegans
