The best meal I’ve had in Bogota - Edit
I may come and update this later, but after eating at 4 other places, this is by far the best place I’ve eaten. TBH, when traveling to different countries, I’d much rather eat vegan versions of local food. This doesn’t appear to be much of an option here. So, last night was Italian food in Bogota and it was exceptional. I got the penne pomodoro and the pasta was perfectly al dente and the sauce was well done. I also got the arancini and the pizza frita. Both were exceptional. #Veganuary

The place is lovely, the menu is extensive and everything sounds delicious so it was hard to choose. Maybe I was expecting something super tasty as for the reviews and the price of the dishes, but it was okay. I particularly found the fried breaded aubergine too salty. Portions are big.

Possibly the best vegan restaurant in Bogotá! - Edit
I have tried tons of vegan restaurants in Bogotá and I was incredibly impressed with Pianta! The quinoa salad (which I would describe as more of a kale salad) and the pumpkin pizza were outstanding. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients and the love and attention with which the food is made. The flavours are balanced and well thought-out in every dish. They also have an all you can eat brunch buffet on Sundays with pancakes, hot dog rolls, little mini burgers, cupcakes and lots more. Amazing! The prices are very high for Bogotá but it is worth it. A nice place for a special occasion or if you simply want to try one of the best vegan restaurants in the city.

Good selection of starters and main dishes. Starter dishes were excellent. Bread with pesto, guacamole etc.. For main dishes we had pizzas and one risotto. Excellent pizza dough but kid of heavy food as there was a lot of oil. Still very delicious

This is what I was waiting for!! Finally a vegan Italian restaurant in Bogota that’s worth it. I tried funghi and napoletana pizzas, I have to say they have the best dough in town.

I tried to eat a serving of each food that the brunch offered, however, despite the deliciousness of each one, the protein in the preparations was missed. It is a brunch especially recommended for those who love starchy food.
The presentation of the food is impeccable and the taste exquisite. All food is very fresh but hot items get cold very quickly.

El lugar tiene una atención y atmósfera muy agradable, aunque el restaurante es minimalista es lujoso. Traté de probar una porción de cada alimento que ofrecía el brunch, sin embargo, a pesar de lo delicioso de cada una, se extrañó la proteína en las preparaciones. Es un brunch especialmente recomendado para aquellos que aman los carbohidratos.
La presentación de la comida es impecable y el sabor esquisito. Toda la comida es muy fresca pero los productos calientes se enfrían muy pronto.

Sunday morning - all you can eat for $10USD - dozens of items to choose from as well as hot options from the kitchen. Definitely will be back! Nice small outside area in front to eat as well.

Delicious, upscale, small portions - Edit
I dropped by here the other night to grab some dinner. From what I gather, they just opened this year and they’ve done a great job with the space — it’s nice and minimalist classy inside. No English menu available and no one spoke English, but the staff were absolutely great nonetheless and were extremely welcoming and friendly and helped with pointing and whatever else was necessary to explain things to me.
Read moreThe tomato soup and the mushroom risotto are both fantastic, but be warned that they’ve very much adopted the fancy restaurant ethos of small portions. Even with the included pieces of bread, I’d be surprised if I got 600 calories between both dishes for 45mil. So be prepared for high prices, and if you’re an active backpacker who went running earlier that evening, for example, you may wind up swinging by the grocery store to grab some cheap carbs to snack on after your meal.
