One Of London's Best

This cute little restaurant in the Hackey area has some of London's best food. The spinach ricotta ravioli is the best I have ever had. Perfection! The Tiramisu is also perfect.
This place also has outstanding hummus and olive pate.
I love everything about this restaurant - The decor, the size, the service, and the food.

Pros: Fantastic ravioli

amazing fresh vegan pastas

The fresh pastas are just fabulous! Had the tortellini with spinach and the tagliatelle Bolognese and kudos for making such great vegan fresh pastas home made in the restaurant! Would be nice if some vegetable dishes / salads were added to the menu for a balanced meal and trust that will eventually happen ....

Pros: great fresh home made vegan pasta, delicious sauces

Cons: the gluten free lasagna less to my taste than the , need to add some vegetable based dishes to eat bef

what a great find!

Stumbled across this place when walking around the Victoria park area.
The food is awesome and very affordable.
We had the vegan ravioli, kebab piadina and the Sunday roast piadina.

All were excellent! We will be back!

Simply the best!

They have a lot of options, including creating your own. There’s a new pasta dish everyday. Antonio, Libby and crew are extremely friendly and polite! It’s refreshing to see ‘propa’ locals come here to eat as well. Definitely worth a trip!

Pros: Reasonably priced , Delicious , Fresh

Cons: Absolutely none!

A beautiful dining experience

If you are in the Hackney Wick area and looking for good pasta (that happens to be vegan) I would highly recommend this place.

Super friendly staff - nice cosy atmosphere - BYOB - and the food is amazing and not to mention very good value. I've had food delivered before via UberEats as well and it's always been really tasty. Last night I had the tagliatelle carbonara which was delicious. Check this place out.

Pros: Great staff, Great food, Dog friendly

Cons: On a busy road

so tasty

The food at Piadina Genuina is fresh and so tasty. The best home made tasting food I've had away from home. Tagliatelle is made fresh and the prices are more than reasonable. Highly recommended!

Pros: fresh , tasty, games to play (rubics cube and connect 4, guitar)

Cons: it's not closer to home

best Italian I've ever had - fantastic place

excellent food. lovely informal atmosphere. brilliant service and friendly staff. my seitan kebab was great. our party had a range of different delicious fresh pasta dishes (not listed on paper menu so ask) that were absolutely exceptional - I've never had such high quality vegan Italian food. extremely low prices (£5 for excellent meals - don't be put off by the price the food is really good quality) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :)

A real gem!

Popped by for dinner after finding them on happy cow, great location just off victoria park and dog friendly so it was a perfect stop off after a dog walk. Cosy deco with board games and rubix cubes to keep you occupied whilst you wait. The menu showed the piadina and calzone, we had both and cheesecake then noticed other tables had freshly made ravioli! Wished we had known before we were too stuffed. Will be back to try it. Fantastic vegan addition and very cheap for a fantastic filling meal.

Pros: Price, Food, Environment

Cons: Non

Yummy Piadina

Just had a delicious brunch of Salsiccia Piadina with very good coffee.

Will definitely be back and good to hear they are now on Deliveroo!

Hi NicP,

Thanks for your review. I have checked their Facebook page and it seems they were closed today. This appears to have been a one off. Hope this helps.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately I run my shop alone with no staff and work 15 hours a day, with some help from my girlfriend. After 3 months of working on the business everyday I took a day off to spend with my family, who was visiting from Italy, who I had not seen for 8 months. I publicised the unusual closure of the shop on our Facebook page and changed the opening
hours on Google. I am sorry if you travelled, only to find the shop closed. Any future closure will be advertise in the same way.

Lovely & local

Wow! Great food, great service. Antonio is the loveliest person and makes you feel extra special. His passion for what he does is amazing and the food is unbelievable. The piadinas are glorious and all the fillings I have tried have been tasty.

Pros: All vegan!, Cheap!, Lovely service!

Cons: Only one person and everything is made to order so

Go and be charmed.

The food is great. Fresh, easy going homemade flatbreads, folded pizzas, lasagnes, and now Burgers.
Good coffee, fresh fruit juice.
The location may not be the hanging gardens of Babylon, and you are unlikely to see herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically etc.
What you will get is a real warm welcome, and a host/ chef, who is passionate about what he does.
Really worth the trip.

Pros: carefully planned fresh food. , wonderful host

Cons: nice gaff, [censored] road!

love this place!

I have to add my praise to this long list of positive reviews. Visited with a friend yesterday and it was delicious, great value and run by passionate, driven Antonio, who shared his food and methods with us in a way that made us feel like we'd been invited into his home. One of my favourite vegan places in London now!

Pros: great food, decent prices, gluten free options

Cons: out of the way location

Amazing!

Piadina Genuina is run by probably the hardest working, most passionate vegan caterer I have ever met! Oh and he likes talking too!

Read the reviews below for more info, but let me just say that although this place is stuck on an unforgiving corner of a main road out of Hackney it is well worth visiting. The food is fresh and tasty and the enthusiasm of the all in one owner, chef, cleaner, waiter infectious. Go soon before it gets too popular and he has a break down trying to keep up with the demand. I'll see you there especially if he makes the cheesecake sugar free!

Pros: Not expensive, Fresh tasty food, Super friendly service

Cons: Not organic., A little out of the way

Wonderful and affordable

We found out about this place just yesterday and the reviews were so good we just had to check it out!

It's a lovely place, the owner/chef is super friendly and passionate. He was happy to make the piadina exactly how you would like it and makes it right infront of you. I was very impressed with the piadina, and it was refreshing to have this kind of kebab style food for the reasonable price of £4.50. For so long i have been frustrated that all vegan places charge such expensive prices. (Please don't increase your prices!)

The food was delicious and actually served within 5-10 minutes, even though it's all freshly prepared. For dessert the owner made us some chocolate and hazelnut crepes, which were the best i've ever had. He even made a new batter especially for me as i didn't want it with cinnamon.

Definitely worth a visit

Pros: Friendly owner, Delicious food, Affordable prices

Cons: Warm inside-but i think they plan to get fans, Limited seating for large groups, Bit tricky to reach on public transport

What a treat!

The handmade bread wraps are really something different and fun to try.

The piadina with aubergine, sundried tomatoes, spicy olive tapenade and broccoli combined all my favourite things and I devoured it in minutes!

The cherry cheesecake was delicious and my son and I cleaerd the plate in seconds flat.

The juice was a perfect blend of pineapple, apple and ginger.

It was served with a big jug of mint infused water which was very much appreciated on hot day, as was the balloon they kindly presented my son with at the end of the meal.

A wonderful place, and a real bargain at £4.50 per piadnia and £2.50 for a slice of cheesecake. The place has the air of somewhere really run for love.

It was also incredibly close to the beautiful victoria park for a wonderful day with amazing playgounds, fountains and boating lakes .

Go and enjoy!

Pros: Scrumptious, Bargain, Great location for a day out

Cons: You'll be tempted to eat more than you need to!

Delicious, Unusual, Great Value

Lovely place for light lunch. Never had a piadina before but was delicious- I had the 'Mediterranean' with extra seitan. Owner clearly has a lot of passion for what he does.

Pros: Fully vegan, Great value- less than a fiver for a filling lunch
