Cheap and really good restaurant - Edit
This restaurant is really (around 40k a dish), very good and has a very relaxing atmosphere. We tried the bo bun, which was delicious (with lots of herbs!), and the pad lao, for a total of 75k.
Read moreThe only downside was that the pad lao came with chicken, even though I asked it vegetarian: make sure you insist when you order!
Pros: Inexpensive, Relaxing atmosphere, The bo bun
Cons: Wrong order

Read morePros: Günstig, Fresh Spring Rolls waren mega lecker
Cons: Hauptspeisen haben leider sehr Pfad geschmeckt, Curry hatte nicht wirklich was mit Curry zu tun?, Bei fast allem Ei drin, für Veganer schwierig

Had the vegetarian fried rice. Pretty basic but quite a few options on the menu if you’re eating with someone else who eats meat.

Well priced, nice tasting food! Try the fresh spring rolls to compliment your dish! Lovely service too, despite some pushy patrons this day.

Veganizeable! - Edit
Best food I had so far in Laos!
Read moreVery good bor boun, just ask for vegetarian and without egg (I don’t think there would be egg, but I just always say it)! Fresh spring rolls are also very delicious.
Pros: Veganizeable dishes , Fresh, delicious, cheap , Staff speaks English
Cons: Doesn’t say what is vegan/vegetarian on the menu

Nice little place close to Watxienthong temple - Edit
We had the spring rolls which were delicious and served with a big basket of lettuce/mint/coriander/dill so you could build your own veggie rolls. We also had the fried rice without meat and the vegetables.

Caution: specify vegan - Edit
Their fried spring rolls contain egg meaning that the Bo Bun is not vegan unless you specify fresh spring rolls. The taste and prices are great though!

Best spring rolls!! - Edit
If you go here PLEASE order the fried spring rolls - you roll them up with salad, fresh herbs and dipping sauce. The fresh spring rolls were the best I have had in quite some time! Cannot say much about the other items, would order the same every time!

Good food at very reasonable prices - Edit
We had the fresh spring rolls minus the pork, which were delicious. Their Bo Bun with tofu switched for meat options was also super tasty. Curry was decent. Would not recommend their vermicelli salad - which was basically rice noodles swimming in a pool of overly sweet chili sauce.

Great food! - Edit
Most of the items can be made vegan and substitute meat to tofu. We ordered Lao salad, Phad Thai, and the crispy river weed, which were all excellent! We also ordered the pre made spring rolls, which didn't have much in them but the sauce was good. For dessert we got chocolate milk shake with coconut milk that was refreshing.

Good, cheap food! Would recommend. - Edit
Me and a friend shared the fried eggplant and pad thai which was just 17k kip each which is very cheap, especially for a place in town. I also had a mango smoothie (ordered with coconut milk) which was amazing and served with a big metal straw.

Good cheap food - Edit
I had the fresh spring rolls and they were delicious. The portion size was large enough for lunch. Some of my friends tried other dishes and loved them. Kept going back to this cafe during my stay. It can get a bit busy during lunch. Staff understands vegetarianism. I would definitely recommend this place.

A nice place to sit for while and have a good cappuccino. Tried some vegan options. It was cheap and the staff was nice. The food didn't taste very special, you have to pay maybe a bit more for better food

Cheap and ok - Edit
Went here because it was close to our accomodation even though there weren't any reviews yet on Happy Cow. According to the waitress most of the food on the menu could be made vegetarian. We ordered the stir-fried vegetables and the stir-fried eggplant, both good and big portions, but nothing really special. Good prices.
