We had a lovely afternoon tea here! It could've been presented a bit nicer, I always enjoy the little stands afternoon tea comes on but it was delicious non the less, would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone. Staff were so friendly, engaging and welcoming. Visited here again for a Christmas dinner which was also delicious.

Wedding Cake - Edit
Phoenix were recommend to us by a friend of mine as we were looking for a vegan wedding cake for our incredibly last minute wedding. They baked us the most beautiful wedding cake than even the non-vegans loved! They even gave me the most special brooch as my ‘something old!’ Will be forever grateful. We haven’t been in yet for food, but we simply can’t wait!

An unexpected find in this area where there’s a serious lack of vegan food options. The staff were very friendly, the food reasonably priced and good portion sizes. We got a dragon pie (bit like a shepherd less pie & very good) and a Buddha bowl (bit of a random mix of things) and a chocolate torte (delicious). Very limited opening hours (3 days a week)

I loved this place. There was loads of choice on the menu. I had the coronation wrap. It was gorgeous. The decor is lovely. The people are very friendly and it has a really nice atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely cafe in St. Helen’s town centre. Food is gorgeous and better than I’ve tasted in more expensive city centre vegan restaurants. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and welcoming. Only problem is deciding what to choose off the menu! It’s all so yummy 😋. Looking forward to my next visit.

Hired them to cater for my wedding and our guests (mostly non vegans) loved it all!! 'Duck' rolls were especially popular. They went above and beyond for us really and we will visit the resteraunt itself every change we get, we are so fortunate to live near this resteraunt

Nice owners/staff. Location is random. No parking outside or very close. Interior is different, bit comfortable. Food cooked fresh and was very reasonable price. Other than the chips being a little undercooked, everything else was very good. Had the vegan bbq chicken sub. Makes her own vegan chicken pieces. Nice pie, but on the small side. Cash only.

Lovely place. Beautifully presented and decorated, a proper cafe-restaurant. A nice selection of food, amazing prices - really surprising. Tasty too. Will definitely be returning. Uploaded a few pictures. Chips were amazing. The wrap tasted much nicer than it looked. Pie was lovely. Lovely gravy. The cakes looked lovely - was too full to try one. This place is really nice, they have some tasty regular dishes and several daily specials. The decor is really quirky but cool, the staff are friendly and the food is nice home cooking style stuff.
Read moreThe menu mostly focuses on meat replacements rather than veg in its own right, but sometimes that is what you want!
The cakes are absolutely awesome too, make sure you leave room for dessert, or just pop in for it!
They also have a cool little shop upstairs with s lot of interesting vintage stuff .

My favourite place to eat in St. Helens by far. The food is really tasty, lots of different options on different days. Vegan cakes are a must especially the Bakewell Tart. I’m so happy these ladies put all the hard graft in to look after the Plant Based eaters of St. Helens.

Delicious dinner - Edit
Finally got chance to try this cafe! Met a friend on my dinner hour and we were able to get served quickly within the hour. I opted for elderflower cordial and mushrooms on toast. It was so delicious! There was a few vegan cakes to choose from too. They also had a shop selling various items and also more upstairs. They warned me not everything in the shop was vegan though! I would definitely go back and would like to have more time to look round more.

Lovely place opposite the theatre. Staff very friendly and eager to please. Been a few times always good food. The creamy mushrooms are fab and the tofu scramble on toast is ace breakfast. Loaded fries with chilli topping delicious. And some great cakes too. Usually have a choice of milks for your hot drinks.
