I spoke to someone (I think owner) when told me one of the veggie proteins they use in the pho has milk, as does their peanut sauce. She switched both out for something vegan & dairy free.
When you find this restaurant, you will find plenty of parking. Inside, you will find plenty of seating in this large cafe style approach to the decor and setting. Then, you can be quickly seated and on to ordering before you know it.
The veg*n options are typical: spring rolls, imperial rolls (fried rice paper wrapped rolls), tofu with rice, vermicelli with veggies, banh mi, pho and one unusual dish of a tofu patty. I only tried the spring rolls and vermicelli, but I could tell already that the food would only be mediocre.
The food was fresh as can be, but, the flavors were lacking. The sauce that came with the spring rolls and vermicelli was the same - there was a bit too much of a rice vinegar flavor, which seemed to mask or make-up for other flavors. The servings were hefty, but mostly carbs and iceberg lettuce. Both had a decent amount of "meat" and lots of peanuts, but I would have preferred more veggies.
Overall, if you are hungry and with friends/ family insisting on this area and this style of food, you're in luck. Pretty affordable and wow-zers portions.
