My wife and I live in San Francisco but we love to come down to San Bruno for the vegan pho and curry. Good, comforting Vietnamese food combined with fast and friendly service make for a great experience.

The broth on their vegan pho is phenomenal!! It’s rare to find a broth with so much flavor. I love the varieties of veggies they give with the vegan pho like eggplant, carrots, purple cabbage & more! Definitely my new go to for pho 😋😋😋

Light and veg-heavy vegan pho - Edit
If you enjoy eggplant and want a light pho, I recommend dining in for the vegan pho. There is always enough for me to take home. Very sorry to hear about the other reviewer's experience. Staff have been gracious and helpful when I have eaten here.

Served non vegan food that was labeled as vegan - Edit
Item was labeled vegan but included item that was absolutely not vegan. Upsetting to contribute to the use of animal products (and have no dinner!) The restaurant does not put care into its vegan clients. Do not trust the restaurant.

Feeling confident about this place after reading reviews, but the experience was indeed a huge disappointment. Ordered the standard vermicelli noodle salad and took it home only to find out it consisted solely of noodles, fried tofu and a few scraps of lettuce. No vegetables, no cilantro, no mint, and worst of all, NO SAUCE. A packet of hoisen and a packet of soy do NOT add up to sauce.

The best Vegan Pho is hard to come by and we are so excited that we finally found it! We live in the East Bay but we WILL be back. Chef Phong came out to chat and talked about expanding the vegan options.
