Go-to place - Edit
This has quickly become my go-to place in Aarhus. The food is always good and it’s an easy choice that everyone is happy with when you go out to eat with non vegans/vegetarians.
Read moreThe price is good for Denmark and the portions are big. I wish they would have a few more veggie options, since the selection is quite limited, especially since they have a pretty big menu.
I do find it weird though that their “vegetarian” section has a dish in it made with bone broth. It does say so on the menu but I really don’t understand why it’s on the vegetarian menu…
I also had a bit of a scare one time, when I was ordering one of my usuals and asked them to please make sure it was vegan (some dishes you have to choose between soy or fish sauce so I like to be sure) and the waiter said that that dish couldn’t be made vegan since it’s made with chicken stock! Which obviously made me uneasy, since I’ve eaten it before where they assured me that it was vegan. And again, it is on the vegetarian menu… The next time I came back I asked about it and they promised me that it IS vegan and not made with chicken stock, but I think it’s a bit worrying that they’re giving contradicting information and that some of the staff doesn’t seem very knowledgeable about the food on the menu…
The place is located really nicely, close to Aarhus central station and the main shopping street, and is really easy to get to on food.
The place is really small and always super busy, so if you’re coming around dinner time I recommend booking a table in advance. Alternatively, you can get your food to go.
It’s not the nicest interior but it’s also not bad. It’s just really small and crowded with minimum work put into the decor. The affordable price and tasty food makes up for it though. If the weather is nice you can also sit outside. It’s not the coziest street but it’s less crowded and noisy outside.

Good food - Edit
Good food and big portions - the summer rolls were huge. The staff was friendly and double checked that everything I ordered was vegan. I thought the tofu was a bit dry and very tofu/soy-tasting, which I don't like so much, so next time I will order without the tofu. The shiitake mushroom were delicious though and I liked all the toppings! I will definitely come back and try some of their other dishes too.
Read moreEdit: I tried the bún with shiitake at my next visit and while the mushrooms are still good, it was more of a noodle salad than a warm dish. Also, the summer rolls might try to compensate their lack of taste with size, but I don't think their worth it.

Not that vegan friendly - Edit
The service was good but it was quite obvious that they were beter with the meat dishes and had not that much knowledge of how to make good vegan food. A big minus that the vegetarian dishes had fish sauce and beef stock.

Cons: The vegan food was not well seasoned , The vegan food was dry, Pho was not vegan but had beef stock

Some vegan options - Edit
It’s quick and fast to get at Pho C&P. The food is very authentic and great tasting. There are only a couple of vegan options on the menu, make sure ask the staff and that they take down your order as vegan, otherwise you will most likely end up with a dish that has fish sauce.

Cons: Few vegan options
