Always here for the curry - Edit
The curry (with tofu or this isn’t chickn) will forever be my favourite. I can highly recommend this dish to anyone who loves creamy peanut sauces.
Read moreThere are also many other vegan dishes (rice, noodle, pho, summer roll, spring rolls, etc)
Note: I can get very busy especially on weekends so always ensure to book in advance. Waiting times to get served and get the bill can be long.
Pros: Many vegan options , Big portions , Good location
Cons: Gets very busy , High optional service fee added onto bill

This hits the spot if you're looking for tasty, fresh vegan food. I've tried the wok fried noodles and vermicelli noodles with tofu & mushroom and would recommend both. Great flavours and filling but light. I'd go for the spring over summer rolls. Been here a few times and would definitely go back.

Lots of Vegan Options - Edit
I visited Pho because I saw that they had so many unusual vegan options on their menu. I ordered the Summer Rolls which weren’t the best. The peanut sauce was the tastiest part; the actual rolls were tasteless and the ‘this isn’t chicken’ inside was so bland. Then for main I had the mushroom Pho. This was mostly broth with very little substance to it. Their was a lacking of mushrooms and noodles in the pho. It wasn’t very tasty either and overall very boring. I didn’t particularly enjoy sitting in the restaurant either; it was dark, cramp and chaotic. The prices are average for what you’re getting. I don’t think the food is of high quality. Also, I was really looking forward to the vegan ‘prawn’ crackers but they didn’t have them so that was disappointing. I would maybe return to try some of their other vegan options but I didn’t enjoy the food enough to rush to return.

Tasty fresh food - Edit
We had the prawnless crackers, the spicy green, the vegan chicken noodles and some juices. Food was fresh and tasty. I like that it comes with extra herbs you can add. #Veganuary

Currently running with a dedicated vegan Christmas menu as well as the others clearly marked on the main menu. The spring rolls and peanut sauce are amazing. If you only order one thing, make it that! Really friendly staff, working very hard under obviously difficult circumstances at the moment.

It was okay - Edit
I visited Pho as I saw it had lots of vegan options which is great. It was a bit disappointing though, I ordered a spicy ‘chicken’ pho. The ‘chicken’ was bland and wasn’t at all spicy. The broth was decent but also lacked flavour and was quite salty. I will try Pho again but maybe get something different. Their pad thai looks good, I’ll hopefully not be disappointed by that.

Lovely rich flavours - Edit
Really nice place, relaxed and cosy atmosphere with a separate vegan menu since January. The staff clearly care about criss contamination as we were advised on the communal pickles on the table. Pho was great tasting and the option to add your own herbs was a nice touch.

Good not great - Edit
I love that they have a lot of vegan options and really wanted to like them more. But the broth just isn’t all that great, and they were fairly skimpy with the ingredients/toppings. I had the hot and spicy 3 mushroom soup, with tofu added.

Food after beer! - Edit
I found this place on happy cow and the reviews seemed very good, I was not disappointed. It does have a chain feel to it but that means food comes out very quickly and the service was very good (the waitress circled every vegan option for me) . I had the veg spring roles with peanut butter sauce and they were amazing!!!! (Note that they were deep fried and quite heavy, that’s what I wanted after a beer session anyway)! The Vietnamese veggie curry was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend it.

As a big fan of ramen and noodle soups I was hopeful when I visited Pho. It didn't let me down. The spicy tofu and mushroom pho is so good. Lovely broth with the option of a good level of spice. Very wholesome and refreshing.

Great atmosphere - Edit
This is a lovely place with good vegan options and really helpful staff (they were able to check on the vegan status of the prosecco etc.) Would recommend the crispy spring rolls especially (and they prepared a vegan dip to replace a non-vegan one.) The only downside is that the main courses will involve tofu, so if you're not keen on it, your options might be limited, but the staff were clued up so maybe they could be adapted on request.
