Outside What? - Edit
My husband and I enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. It was a little different. Used to gravy being country style but this was like a dinner brownish gravy over biscuits. I myself wasn't that fond of gravy but made up for it with the biscuits which were buttery and flaky. One of the servers can't remember her name but she was extremely nice. One of the friendly faces we ever seen here in Seattle. We were hangry by the time we got here because of all the closings of other restaurants we attempted to get to for breakfast and she was so relaxing and chilled and calmed us down, even brought our food out in record time.

It’s okay - Edit
This place isn’t bad. It has a few pastries in the case and a couple options in the menu, but nothing I’d really bother going out of the way for. The Mac and cheez and cocktails are pretty good, but the drinks especially are way overpriced (we’re talking $17 for a cocktail) and it’s not really the kind of atmosphere that warrants the cost.

Best vegan Mac and cheeze in Seattle. They have an impossible burger with vegan alioli that it’s amazing. They are expanding their vegan menu.

Horrible service. Mismanaged - Edit
Awful experience. Said wait time would be 20 minutes, which was no problem. They texted me 30 minutes later saying my table was ready. I was waiting in line and the host took someone out of order in line and gave them our table. Said we needed to wait another ten minutes. It's been closer to 20 now. Staff was unapologetic. Awful way to run a business. I won't be back.

used to be more vegan friendly - Edit
Vegan options good but limited. They used to have more but scaled back. Now it's an ok option if your omni friend wants brunch but demands eggs, but not much of a destination for vegans.

Really good mac and cheese! - Edit
I popped in here for lunch with my in-laws on our way through Seattle and was pleasantly surprised! Everyone ordered the brisket sandwich and loved it and I got the vegan Mac and cheese. It looked like the only vegan option on the menu, but that's okay because it was amazingly rich and cheesy and the side salad it came with was refreshing. 4 stars because of lack of options.

Great Ambience - Edit
My mother and I were walking around on capitol hill looking for a Cafe because the one we had come to eat at was closed!(due to a power failure) We ran-across this cafe and went-in on a whim, we loved it. The staff greeted us enthusiastically and checked on us often without hanging around and making us feel awkward (I always have a full mouth when servers stop-by and feel mortified), and the food was lovely.
Read moreMy only complaint was that it wasn't the weekend, I wanted to try the biscuits and gravy! Instead, I got the scrambled tofu with coconut curry which was very good. They use a soft tofu with a Thai curry sauce, so it was unique to me in terms of scrambled tofu, I'm used to a bit firmer of a scramble and not having it be so saucy. Still, very good.
My mother (who eats meat, dairy, eggs, etc. but refuses to let me call her an "everything eater") got the omelet and absolutely loved it. For those who are wondering, they do contain eggs, they just don't say it on the menu (she checked this with the server and we all had a little laugh about it.) So, based on her recommendation, their vegetarian breakfasts are excellent, too.
Pros: Very friendly staff, Not too expensive, Tempting Pastry Bar

I love it here - Edit
I love Shawn's Vegan Mac and Cheese. I get this every time I go here. My ideal scenario is to go here with another vegan and share a mac (or 2) and get another dish. They serve it during breakfast, brunch and dinner.
Read moreVegan brunch here is good too. I like the biscuits and gravy, but find the tofu scramble bland and soupy. They have several vegan pastries. My only real criticism is that they haven't had any vegan desserts when I've been. Get on it Pettirosso!
Pros: Shawn's Vegan Mac and Cheese, Brunch, Pastries
Cons: No Vegan Dessert
