Wow! Amazing Israeli bakery and so vegan friendly! - Edit
This bakery absolutely made my day! If you ever went into a typical Israeli bakery and were sad because you wished that everything had a vegan option, well wish no longer - your dream has come true! We checked this place out after seeing rave reviews in local vegan groups. The owner was super friendly and explained all of the many vegan options - five types of vegan sufganiot (Chanukah donuts) even though we were there at 6pm (late by bakery standards!), several vegan cookie choices, several types of crackers, fresh rugelach (!!!), and both sweet and savory bourekas! Everything we tried was sooooo tasty! The winner was the pistachio and berry donut! Wow! I wish I had 10 more! Even though it is a 20-30 minute drive from Haifa, we will definitely be back for the bourekas! The owner was so friendly and helpful and the prices were fair. All in all, what are you waiting for? - Drive to Kiryat Motzkin and try Perla Bakery!
