A place with lots of Aloha - Edit
Pele’s Kitchen is not only a cute local joint filled with so much aloha, it also has some of the best food for breakfast. The menu is clearly labeled with what is vegan and they have a ton of options. The homemade tempeh was out of this world along with the vegan ulu waffles. This is a must stop when in town.

Great vibe - Edit
A few vegan options on the menu. I had the jungle breakfast, along with some mango ginger juice. Big portions and very nutritious. Ask for the salt and pepper.

Very fresh and healthy place, which has friendly service. All vegan options are marked very clearly.
Read moreFriendly to kids, they brought my son a coloring book without asking. Also, very nice artsy local vibe.

Go to breakfast - Edit
When I don’t feel like cooking, my kids and I always choose to indulge at Pele’s! My fave is the ulu waffle and the kids always get the pancakes w banana. Their fresh juices are yummy and I love the patties.

Delicious local food - Edit
This restaurant has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere and a huge menu of veg and omni options. The are open for breakfast each day until noon and also open for dinner a few nights a week. Most of the fruit and veggies are locally grown. We had the pancakes, waffles, and jungle breakfast. The purple yams were the star of the jungle breakfast- absolutely delicious. We liked the waffles just fine, but the pancakes are really fantastic. We also bought a bar of locally made vegan chocolate.

BEST vegan pancakes ever - Edit
oh my gosh. such a cool place. clearly marked vegan options. tofu scramble, pancakes, fruit. maybe a couple others. but get the pancakes for sure! or the big vegan breakfast plate. the fruit here is local and always fresh and different. the pancakes are made with banana so they will taste unlike any vegan pancakes you’ve ever had!!! the staff owns the farm the food is grown on. friendly. so beautiful. the cooks dad owns the building and he’s so passionate about the restaurant. wish it was open all day haha! so yum!!
