Outdoors or indoors! - Edit
This place has indoor and outdoor setting right on the main road. It was recommended to us and didn’t disappoint. I had a great gluten free pizza here. And pizza was very good. You can have beer on tap. This place was hopping with people and a lot of locals frequent it., so it is worth a stop.

Place to go in Kanab - Edit
What a great restaurant! The staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and the food couldn't be better. Most of the dishes can be prepared vegan (there is vegan cheese as an alternative, for example). It really is a blessing to find a vegetarian/vegan restaurant in a city like Kanab. We were there twice during our stay in Kanab.

Amazing - Edit
I was surprised to find such an amazing restaurant for vegans in Kanab! Nearly everything on menu can be made vegan as they have ample vegan cheese — I had a margarita pizza and the vegan cheese was so good (person I went with had sandwich vegetarian not vegan but she did love it also). I wish I were in Kanab a little longer just to eat another meal here. For dessert we got the vegan cheesecake and that was also incredible. The service was great, waitress was so kind and atmosphere was nice. HIGHLY recommend coming here! My only complaint is that the restaurant is very much not vegan in that the dishes as-is (i.e. not requested vegan) are very cheese-heavy. I would love them to convert to full vegan someday but for now they are serving vegans wonderfully.

I had an impossible burger and fries and both were delicious. Hubby had the “Best Friends Delight” with Impossible Meatballs. He said it was really good.

good if you're craving pizza and don't mind cheddar - Edit
We ordered the hot mess, lone ranger, and white pocket. The pies were a nice thin crust with wood-fired taste. Unfortunately the only vegan cheese they seem to offer is cheddar which is not typically what you associate/want on pizza and really changes the taste. I'd say the pizzas were good but nothing special. Our non-vegan friend enjoyed them though.

To the rescue - Edit
After leaving a different local restaurant, due to possibly the worst meals we have ever received, we went to Peekaboo to try and salvage our evening. Peekaboo did not disappoint! This place checked all the boxes! The salad and Pizza we ordered were both outstanding. The service and ambiance were lovely. There were lots of vegan options from starters to dessert. We highly recommend Peekaboo!

Floppy pizza at its finest - Edit
Pizza sooo floppy and sooo tasty! We ordered the "hot mess" pizza, garlic bombs (no cheese), and a slice of vegan cheesecake. We heard many people come in and ask for meat and leave when told the restaurant was vegetarian/vegan. Man, what dummies!

Best in Kanab - Edit
What did we like… it’s really good, fast and great options! While visiting Kanab we ate here twice for salad and pizza. We ordered Hot Mess and Mushroom Madness(added sausage), Caesar salad, and the Carrot Cake.
Read moreThe crust on the pizza is thin and holds up great. Both pizza were really good, even with cheddar cheese on the Mushroom Madness(they ran out of mozzarella).
Carrot cake was moist, frosting was velvety and sweet. We ordered it both times.
Caesar salad dressing made the salad. The Parmesan crisp are not vegan. We had vegan Parmesan at home and added it to the salad. I do think the added Parmesan made it better.
Pros: Options, options, options, Great food , Fast service even on a weekend

Great pizzas and nachos - Edit
Utah is magnificent and beautiful but not a haven for vegans. Meat is king in these parts. But Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen is made for vegans, and they seem to be thriving. Maybe it's all the outdoors people who stop in Kanab before they head out on healthy adventures. And obviously locals have this place on the radar. A range of delicious pizzas -- we each enjoyed ours. They are big enough to share of to take home for the next day. We also started off with a pile of delicious, cheesy nachos -- also all vegan. Unfortunately we didn't have room left to try the vegan cheesecake, as tempting as it was. Also on the menu were pastas, burgers, cocktails -- all defaulting to vegan. A great find.

The best food in years!! - Edit
I haven’t been this impressed with eating out in years! Every person working here had a confident presence about their craft. The food was even better. Vegan and gluten free served to a tee. Julianna, who took my order was very accommodating, confident, kind and reassuring that any pizza could be made vegan. What a treat to have more play with the menu, get what this weary traveler wanted and have my socks blown off. I’m hugely impressed and have recommended long distance friends to make a special trip here. I had one Utahan, one Arizonan and Happy Cow rave about this place as I was approaching. I’m glad I made a point to pull off the road for a magnificent warm meal. What an oasis amongst dead and toxic food for tourists in all the great vacation spots. The ambiance was comfortable, inviting, sexy contemporary with the local natural landscape. Great balance all around. I will be back !!!

Every restaurant should aspire to this - Edit
And I use this title not because the food is the best ever, but because of all of the vegan and vegetarian options. Pizzas can be veganized. They have a vegan Impossible meatball sandwich. They have portobello mushrooms as burger options. Really, every restaurant should offer this.

This restaurant has incredible food. The impossible burgers are phenomenal. There are vegan cheese options that are simply delicious. Great pizza too. We dined here as often as we could. Go early because the wait can be long and they are sometimes understaffed.

Tasty little pizza - Edit
I got the hot mess and they aren’t joking - hot is hot. Wishing is gone for medium heat and unusually like a lot of spice. All in all it’s a great pizza. Nice dough. Good balance of toppings. Vegan cheese isn’t that weird plastic consistency that so many are when melted…

Best in town - Edit
This place has it all - nice atmosphere, great staff, and delicious food. We shared a veganized pizza and salad and they were both amazing. The vegan cheese was nice and melty and the wood fired crust was delicious. Got some vegan desserts to go as we were too full but didn’t want to miss out! Definitely recommend!

A great place to eat in Kanab. Food is really delicious and the ambiance is nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it is a pain getting a table. We waited atleast 30-45 minutes everyday. Once you get a table, the food and service are really good.

Peekaboo! I eat you! - Edit
I ordered the BBQ Outlaw burger, which includes caramelized onions and onion rings. (I omitted the jalapenos.) They offer Beyond, Impossible, or a portobello mushroom for the patty. I chose Sidewinder fries instead of the house salad or sweet potato fries. The burger was tasty, but messy. The fries were crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside.

The food was really nice with lots of options! But this place gets busy - there was a waiting list for seating so long that we couldn’t even get a spot on the list! Luckily for us they were able to do take out 😊

Great options - Edit
Pizza was all gone by the time we arrived. We were able to order burgers and pasta. Both were tasty. However, took a long time to prepare. Learned 20-30 mins after placing the order that the Impossible Burger patty was out of stock. Should have told us earlier and would have been happy to switch to another one earlier. Second day we tried calling in the afternoon for a take out but were so busy that wait time would have been over an hour to get order.

Awesome place in Kanab - Edit
This is the only place in Kanab that is truly veggie. There are no animal meats on the menu, but they have a big variety on vegan meats, to include both Impossible and Beyond. We had the Something Special and Hot Mess, and they were both delicious. Special mention of the freaking outstanding Old Fashioned they serve!

Great pizza - Edit
We really enjoyed our pizzas. I got the something special and added mushrooms, my partner got the hot mess. They were both delicious in their own way. We also got a big salad to share. Oh and not to mention vegan carrot cake and cheesecake (I couldn’t believe the cheesecake was vegan, part of me still kind of wonders if they gave me the wrong one 😂) we were so grateful to find this place right near where we were staying when stoping through Kanab. The only con for me is that they won’t do a custom pizza with your toppings if choice, you have to order from the menu, but it’s ok because the options are great and they will still let you customize a bit.
