Fantastic Vegan B&B - Edit
We stayed in a family room with our daughter. Just fabulous. A really friendly welcome by Helen. The room was just so, so clean. A fridge with soy/oat for your tea. So much choice for breakfast, but the quality was so high too. We met Karl at breakfast, the nicest friendly guy. There were vegan books and leaflets, amazing. So nice not to have to worry if anything was vegan, a haven. We will certainly return.

The perfect stay - Edit
I have just returned home from a lovely 5 night stay at Peasholm Park Hotel. Helen and Karl are the warmest and kindest hosts you could ever wish to meet. Nothing was too much trouble, and they went above and beyond. The hotel is in the perfect location. Everything in Scarborough is within walking distance, and other towns are an easy drive away.
Read moreParking outside was easy and I was given parking passes on arrival, and Helen helped me in with my bags.
There's a fridge on the landing which is kept well stocked with chilled filtered water and oat milk for each room.
A jar of vegan and gluten-free biscuits was waiting for me in my room and kept me going for the week.
There was a great supply of vegan and cruelty free toiletries in the bathroom as well.
Everything was kept well stocked, and it was reassuring to know everything was vegan and cruelty free.
The breakfast was amazing. So tasty and piping hot. Plenty of choices as well. Kept me going until well into the afternoon each day.
I will definitely be back again.

Another fantastic stay. Just what the doctor ordered. Lovely, well equipped room, gorgeous hosts, and the perfect breakfast every day. This year was made even better with the addition of Graceful Healing. I had a lovely reiki session to get my stay off to the perfect start. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. ❤️

Wonderful, exceptional B&B - Edit
We enjoyed a very comfortable 4 day break in early April. Carl and Helen are amazing hosts, so helpful and hospitable. Our room was very clean and nicely furnished with a comfy bed and good linen, and views over the park. Breakfast was fantastic. There's even a guest fridge for plant milk (provided) and a guest lounge, fridge and microwave for snacks. The hotel is very near North Bay and on-street parking is easy. Very highly recommended.

What a lovely place to stay! I stayed here a while back and loved every second. The rooms are nice and amazing value for money. The owners are just lovely, we had a great chat about veganism while I was eating my delicious vegan full English breakfast in the morning. I wanted to stay for longer! It's also in a great location for exploring the East Coast of Yorkshire.

We stayed for 2 nights. It's so nice to stay somewhere that's so beautifully loud and proud about veganism. Gorgeous spaces, clean, comfortable and pretty bedroom with vegan snacks, friendly staff and the most amazing huge vegan breakfasts ever! We definitely plan to go again one day.

Read moreThe minute you walk through the door you feel at home. The hosts Karl and Helen definitely make you feel welcome.
The bnb is spotless, fresh, comfortable, and in an amazing location. Especially for the Open air theatre.
The breakfast is simply delicious, cooked fresh every morning.
On street parking is available and free, bnb provide a permit.
It truly is a lovely bnb, nothing is too much trouble for Karl and Helen they go above and beyond to make your stay very special.
Highly recommended.
You won’t be disappointed.
Can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful two night stay. From Helen’s warm welcome on arrival to the delicious breakfast each morning I cannot find anything to criticise and will be recommending Peasholm Park Vegan B&B to family and friends. As well as being spotlessly clean, and having everything you could need, it has a great vegan ethic it is in a fantastic location too.

After yrs of staying in non-vegan hotels who couldn't, or wouldn't, provide the full range of vegan products Peasholme Park was the perfect antidote. Helen & Karl, being vegan themselves, go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay possible. Very clean, modern, quality food, good location and good value for money. We can't fault it!

Read moreAfter a week in Wales in a carnist B&B, we really appreciated being able to relax, knowing everything in the building was vegan - including the other customers!
Breakfasts are huge - lighter options are available - and really set you up for the day.
Lots of advice on places to visit and places to eat, both in person from Helen and Karl and in the details in folder in the room (we didn't spot this until the penultimate day so we were glad of the verbal recommendations!)
Everywhere is decorated in muted, relaxing tones and there is plenty of reading material if the weather turns bad and you decide to stay in.
Well worth a trip - we will be back!

We've just got back from a 2 night stay in the family room here. What a pleasant experience it has been.

Helen helped us to unload our car on arrival and gave us a parking pass that allowed us to park right outside.
We didn't manage to book in a restaurant on our first night as we got carried away on the beach but moments after sending a late evening text to Helen asking if we could use the front room for a takeout, there was a table setup and high chair ready for our daughter.
The breakfast was delicious and Karl is a top bloke who couldn't do enough for us, even wrapping up some of the breakfast so our daughter who was being a bit fussy could finish it later.
If we're up near Scarborough again we'd stay there again in a heartbeat! 😁

Helen and Karl are excellent hosts, with plenty of suggestions for places to eat or visit. The room was good, with soya milk and chilled water always available.

Parking was easy as we were given permits for our stay and we always found space outside the B&B. You can walk into town, to the north and south beaches and to the aqua park. There are lots of places of interest in and nearby, so a great place for a holiday. We spoke to others staying there who are happy regulars.
Incense wafts through the entrance hall - most enjoy it but if you find it too much, I'm sure you could ask for it not to be burnt during your visit.
Pros: Chilled water available every day, Good location

It's a diffuser for essential oils, I think. I couldn't smell it upstairs or in the dining room so was fine with it. It was quite strong in the hall but like you say I'm sure you could ask for it to be turned off during your visit.

A vegan oasis in Scarborough - Edit
I was extremely relaxed after my weekend at Peasholme Park. My room overlooked the park and was very comfortable and super clean. Karl and Helen cannot do enough for you and the b & b is very chilled out. Great breakfast too and so many little touches (like the box of vegan shortbread). The guest fridge is very handy. Great location for the North Bay and not too far to walk to the main street, railway station or South Bay. Strongly recommended to everyone!

A wonderful and cruelty free stay - Edit
We have been following Peasholm Park Vegan B&B on Facebook since the current proprietors took over and it became a fully vegan place to stay. We finally had the opportunity to stay and we were blown away by the service we received - from the wonderful welcome we received from Helen (and pre-arrival communication) and the fantastic Karl serving the most amazing vegan breakfast. On arrival we were greeted by the calming smell of incense and chilled music. Our room was spotlessly clean - as were all of the public areas of the B&B. The room which was up on the second floor was furnished in a very tasteful and modern style with a well appointed bathroom with cruelty free toiletries. The room overlooked the gorgeous Peasholm Park and the B&B is in a wonderful location close to the North Bay attractions such as the Open Air theatre which is just over a 5min walk away. Thank you so much for a brilliant, cruelty free stay and we hope to stay again.

Helen and Karl are very friendly and really do go that extra mile to make your stay special.
The rooms are spotless and beds very comfortable.
The toiletries are cruelty free and ethically sourced and refreshments in the room are obviously vegan.
The breakfast was beautiful with plenty of choice.
They really know how to run a B&B and work exceptionally hard to maintain very high standards.
We will certainly be returning and would highly recommend to family and friends.

This hotel is just absolutely perfect in every conceivable way; an amazingly brilliant hotel run by 2 amazingly lovely people. Breakfast was a particular highlight! I'm in my 25th year of veganism & have never been anywhere close to half as good as Peasholm. We can't wait to return!

Thank you Helen and Karl for a fantastic stay, your enthusiasm and joviality is a real joy. The Accommodation throughout is spotless, welcoming and cosy, a real vegan home from home. The breakfast and service was excellent, a relaxing and casual atmosphere with constant entertainment from Karl, while Helen creates your choice of Breakfast with care and panash! Truly have no negatives, just a shame we didn't stay longer, but we have already booked to stay again, and can't wait!

The best hosts there will probably ever be! They are so kind and would literally do anything for you! Me and my partner were unsure about our parking expiring so without asking Karl one of the owners went to look to see if our ticket was ok. Karl was so lovely with everyone they both were. They work so hard to get everything right and it was just that! The breakfasts were so tasty and the best I’ve ever eaten! Rooms were so relaxing and beautifully decorated! We were treated like royalty! Definitely going to visit perhaps even just to stay at their establishment.

Most wonderful stay ever! - Edit
We stayed at Peasholm Park for 2 nights back in May and it was absolutely perfect! First off, Helen and Karl are the most lovely, friendly and welcoming people you could ever meet (and amazing cooks as well!!). The breakfasts we had both mornings were delicious, with loads of options. We made the most of it and had full Englishes' fruit, yoghurt, coffee, juice - the works! There was a special each day too, one day was a croissant and the next chocolate chia pudding! Absolutely divine! There was milk available in a fridge on the landing outside our room, as well as a lovely stock of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room too. The room itself was spotless, spacious and comfortable with a great view over the park. We enjoyed watching all the different dogs coming in and out on their walks. Special note about the perfect mattress as well, great plus for someone like me who has lower back problems!! There is also a table tennis room at the B&B, that we could make use of by booking, and vegan alcohol available to purchase on site in the evenings, which was a bonus.
