Their bagels are very good. So flavorful. I had their vegan breakfast sandwich. Nothing exciting but at least they had something.

Pearl’s was such a find!! Bagels were delicious, and there was a plethora of vegan options to choose from. I ended up getting a classic BEC, and YUM!! Definitely plan on getting there earlier than later because they do sell out. This was actually our second visit. The first time, they were sold out of all their vegan offerings.

Pros: So many vegan options! , Delicious bagels
Cons: Sells out quickly , Coffee not good

Great lunch sandwich on a bagel - Edit
We did 2 build your own hot sandwiches. Really great, I enjoyed that they were on bagels. Their bagels are the best I’ve had in Albany! We got the vegan pastrami, vegan cheddar, vegan Russian, tomato and spinach/arugula. Next time I might try it cold. Great options. Too bad they charge $1 for vegan cheese on the build your own. Each sandwich was $13 including the $1 cheese upcharge.

Best Bagels - Edit
Best bagels and plenty of clearly labeled vegan options. FYI this place gets busy so we try to go on weekdays or early mornings!

Best bagels in Albany - Edit
These are the best bagels in the capital region. My vegan parents live within walking distance and we go all the time. We aren’t really that impressed with the tofutti cream cheese, so we put Kite Hill on them at home. Try the rye everything!

Closest to LI / NYC bagels I’ve found! - Edit
Delicious! Error was made involving the temperature of the food, but they were happy to correct it and even threw in some extras.

Corrected Mistake - Edit
Let me start by saying they were so nice and excited about their vegan options. We went in and ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese which my sister said was delicious and she gives it 4 stars. I ordered a vegan bacon egg and cheese on a sun dried tomato bagel and my other sister ordered a vegan sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Both our sandwiches came out looking very sad and both were ice cold (I’m not being dramatic they were so cold to the touch). The cheese was not melted and there was the smallest bit of bacon on the bagel. My sister also was given bacon instead of the sausage she ordered. We felt uncomfortable but decided to go back in and kindly share the mistake. They were apologetic and remade the sandwiches and said they were so sorry and added extra on to compensate. The new sandwiches looked great. Nice and warm, melted cheese, lots of bacon, and the egg patty was smashed down and really came together nicely. We decided to give them 4 stars as the sandwiches were really good when they came back out and they were kind and re-made the bagels and added on extras. The second half of the experience was great and the bagels were delicious. We said that we hope they learned that the second bagels are the way they should present and serve the bagels moving forward.

Best bagels in the capital region (and some delicious vegan options to boot!) - Edit
One of the main things I've missed since moving from Long Island / NYC up to the Capital Region was a perfect bagel. Pearl's seems to have fixed the issue for me. The bagels here would be right at home downstate, and a sandwich like the Easy Being Green could have come straight from a vegan cafe in Brooklyn. Super pleased to have a place like this close to home — and it's right next to the only place around with good vegan pizza, too! Can get a whole day's food from that little plaza.
