Perfect spot for outdoor lunch 😋

We headed here on a recent bike ride, not a whole lot of vegan / veggie food in the Peak District, so we thought we should check this place out. Very helpful staff letting us know what was vegan. We had a coffee (choice of soya or oat milk), I then had tomato soup with granary bread (they had vegan spread), and my husband had a vegetable curry with naan bread. They had lots of lovely looking cakes, many of which were vegan and fridges full of veggie and vegan Pies and homemade microwave style meals. Seating is outside, which is great in good weather.

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff, Plenty of vegan options

Cons: Wouldn't be ideal in the rain!

An oasis

After being out walking all morning and through lunchtime it was with great relief we reached Peak Feast. Unfortunately we arrived after their serving time but fortunately the fab people of Peak Feast rustled up a couple of vegan cheese and red onion marmalade toasties (granary bread), with homemade vegan coleslaw and micro greens. Was I grateful💗
From the fridge we had a bottle of 100% orange juice, and a Vit-Hit Lean and Green.

We sat outside in the gorgeous sunshine. Quite a few picnic tables with umbrellas for shade dotted around their space.

The toasties were delicious and just what I needed to revive me lol.

Various recycling bins for all our waste to be distributed in to.

Looking forward to visiting again sometime.

Amazing homity pie

I love this independent village bakery. It is veggie/vegan, does takeaway meals and cakes so you can home freeze their lush pies and has a seating area outside to "eat in". They also supply their cakes to local cafes like Scarthin in Cromford.

Would have given 5 stars if it was fully vegan.

Amazing vegan homity pie!

We pre-ordered some vegan homity pies from Peak Feast, then drove there to pick them up. It's quite a long way, but definitely worth the journey. The pies were AMAZING! Highly recommend!

Pros: Friendly staff , Easy to pre-order vegan food , Delicious home baked vegan pies

Nice location limited vegan options

Nice location but they’d run out of vegan Bakewell tart which is the main reason we went all that way. Shame really.

Tried the treacle tart (okay) and rice crispie cake (nice) instead.

Makes you wonder why they don’t just make it all vegan when they see how easy it is.

Pros: Nice place for walking

Cons: Limited vegan options

Good vegan options

What a cute place! It’s a little hard to find, but worth it - some delicious vegan options and my boyfriend enjoyed the others on offer!

Great Vegan Options

We were camping nearby and stumbled upon this place. We bought pies and some frozen meals. All vegan and delicious. The treacle tart was an indulgence but went down very well. Behind the shop bit is the kitchen so you can see exactly what you're getting. It's all set in a lovely little village. If you prefer not to drive to the village they do supply other outlets. My non-vegan sister shared the pies too and was very impressed. And our kids loved everything. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

Pros: plenty of vegan options, lovely location, open plan kitchen

Great cakes in stunning location!

Great selection of cakes. Went for a vegan treacle tart and took a vegan homity pie home for tea. Both amazing. Lovely staff, helpful and friendly. Great outdoor space to sit.
