What a fab cafe - Edit
So sad to have just eaten at this fabulous place and to find out that they are closing in 2025.
Read moreThe food was great, coffee well made and friendly helpful staff. We took a blondie away to enjoy later, also delicious!
Try it while you can. Hopefully they will start a new venture in the future.
We were passing through Newport, the cafe is very close to the public car park, easy to find.
Pros: Range of options, Delicious food, Friendly staff

Give this vegan cafe your business - Edit
Currently one of only two vegan eateries on the Isle of Wight and in danger of going out of business. They used to do breakfasts including pancakes but apparently can no longer afford it so now offer sandwiches and toasties - this was a little disappointing since I like a sweet breakfast not a savoury one but never mind, I'm only a tourist so hopefully the locals still get what they want here. I'm not sure I'd call this a zero waste store - there seemed to be a couple of items for sale in the corner but it is mainly a cafe. We had a couple of pastries and milkshakes and bought some cakes to go. There were fewer available than I'd expected considering we were there in the morning but this is presumably to save on waste if they are not getting enough business. I really hope the vegans of the Isle of Wight keep this place alive. Newport is the easiest place to get to on the island so it is vital to have a vegan cafe here.

Yum! - Edit
Really lovely place for lunch. The decor is attractive, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly. I had one of the sandwiches from the specials- ‘bacon’, ‘cream cheese’, and cranberry sauce (heaven) and my partner had the pesto ‘chicken’ burger. For drinks we had a mocha, latte and shared a ‘snickers’ milkshake. All really good! Took away a plain croissant which was a bit dry but we didn’t eat it right away so that’s possibly why.

Cute vegan cafe in Newport - Edit
Lovely cafe with lots of options on the menu. We had 2 berry milkshakes and 2 ‘Tricken’ (vegan ‘chicken’) burgers. Milkshakes were good, not very thick and quite fruity, tasted super fresh and came with whipped cream on top. The burgers were great, they are made from Seitan in house and the crispy coating was really good. My partner’s burger came with a bacon made from coconut which I’ve never seen before, it was definitely different and we both liked it.
Read moreThe cafe was full when we got there but the wait for food wasn’t too long and the staff were clearly working hard and so friendly with everyone. Prices were very reasonable as well.
Pros: Tasty burgers, Fruity milkshakes , Friendly staff

Delicious breakfast - Edit
A fab menu with so many options. The breakfast menu had so many good items, I sampled the smoothie bowl and the pancakes with scrambled tofu and coconut bay-con, plus matcha latte and tea. All really tasty, couldn’t resist a pastry to take away too. Service was fairly slow but we weren’t in a hurry so not an issue for us.

Fantastic range of food, the burgers we had were lovely.
Read moreThe fries were more like potato wedges, however they were still tasty.
They also had pastys & cake too, which we sadly didn't get chance to try, but we'll be back on our next visit to the IOW.

Another fantastic meal!
I had the Fakonater burger (so good!) and shared some chips with my partner. The chips are so crispy, possibly the best chips I've ever had! 5*

Peach Café is Just Peachy! - Edit
We descended upon Peach unbidden, managed to have a lovely side table and happily ordered a quick lunch. We had a fabulous Super Food Salad bowl with handmade seitan tricken as a loaded extra, plus a Beyond Meat Pizza Burger. These, washed down with gently sparkling kombuchas, readied us for our next vegan adventure on the Isle of Wight. Ooooh, did I mention the house speciality, Peanut Butter Latte made with oat milk? 😋

Had the BEST vegan omelette I’ve ever had! It’s so rare to find a really good egg substitute like this so I was amazed at how spot on and tasty the one I had was!! My partner had the breakfast and again this was sooo good. Everything was super fresh, made in house and tasty. Thought prices were decent too.

It really is a peach - Edit
A wonderful place that I return to again and again that educated me in the joy of vegan food. I can’t recommend the breakfast highly enough. The coffee is out of this world and you have the entire range of vegan milks. Lunch a great selection prepared to order and if you are into sustainability they stock all the little things you need.

Moving with the times - Edit
As a tourist on the Isle of Wight, very happy to see vegan options appearing but to have a dedicated vegan restaurant is excellent. Very nice ambience and good service. I suggest to the management to monitor the air quality, as the kitchen fumes may hang in the air without ventilation.

The sandwiches at Peach café are the best and I also recommend their loaded fries, milkshakes and coffee. The staff are seriously lovely and it’s a great atmosphere inside. Always a must go if they have their tofu scramble sandwich on the specials board!
