Serves meat, vegan options available. Located in North Austin where very few places offer vegan dishes; about half the dishes are vegan here, but are not clearly labeled. You pick out your food from behind a bar, and if you order the veggie (vegan) plate, it comes on two full-sized plates, is $11.99 (as of March 2016) and consists of 15 different items. Also has vegan pasties (greens and onion), and zataar flatbread pizzas (vegan). You can also order a falafel plate (falafel is not part of the veggie platter), or vegan appetizers. Open Mon-Thu 10:30am-9:00pm, Fri-Sat 10:30am-10:00pm, Sun 10:30am-9:00pm.

Can’t go wrong- everything is amazing

So many vegan options and literally everything I tried was amazing! Would give 5 stars if I could. The falafel is so crispy, and I especially loved the spicy potatoes and tabouli. Produce was very fresh and flavorful.

Pros: Falafel & Spicy potatoes , Knowledgeable staff, Lots of vegan options

My god!!!

I’ve lived 5 minutes away from Peace Bakery and just got around to trying it. Amazing!! I would give. 5 stars if I could. Most of their sides are vegan and they can make the falafel wrap vegan upon request (sub the tahini sauce with hummus). We tried the vegetarian platter as well along with a sampling of every side. Every single thing was outstanding. The only thing we didn’t try were the coriander potatoes because they were out. Next time!

Pros: So many vegan options , FRESH FOOD, Friendly service

Best Falafel in town

Great Falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, eggplant dip, and many veg sides. Family owned business that always provides great service!

soooooo sooooo goooooood

I had a 2 sides entree (I think - was a little confused) because the 2 sides actually came with 4 different things but in half portions. It was super cheap for a lot of food. Plus they have all you can eat pita. I had the hummus, babba ganoush, dolmas and rice. Delicious! Plenty of parking in private lot shared with other restaurants and businesses.

Pros: inexpensive, delicious , fast

Amazing!!!! Definitely worth a try!

The vegan taboulleh salads was delicious as were the vegan spicy potatoes and the olive salad. Everything I had was vegan and delicious! I did not care for the chickpea and carrot salad as much - it was a bit bland.

Five stars if it would let me!

Plenty of seating, and always a ton of vegan choices, all very fresh, which you pick out of a cafeteria style line. I love this place and eat hee regularly. A good choice if you have omni friends or family, and sizable enough for vegan meetups. Friendly staff.

Pros: Tons of salads, spreads, dips, small vegan hand pi, Tip: to reheat potatoes and rice without drying o

Cons: None that I can think of: fresh, friendly, fast a
