Veganes Angebot nur Mittwochs und Samstags Vormittags und dann am besten nach Reservierung.
Kurz: für uns war nix da - wie für viele andere auch. Anbieter muss ordentlich nachbessern.
We went there yesterday and we’re not lucky - no vegan options available. But the owner was very kind and explained that mainly tourists ask for the vegan stuff. That is why is does not offer too much, but he would love to offer more. Everything looked so delicious and my husband had a traditional croissant that he loved. So I am sure that vegan options will be amazing as well 🤩 give it a try and really call them 2 days in advance.
We reached out to them to order a vegan cake for our son birthday. They made a raspberry/chocolate one, super good!
I didn’t see any vegan options there but I showed up just before the closing time so maybe they had earlier.
There were no vegan options when I visited. I was told that sometimes they have them, and sometimes they don’t. Disappointing, because all the reviews sounded wonderful.
Super pâtisserie avec des options véganes et végétariennes! L’accueil est très chaleureux et possibilité de manger sur place a l’intérieur ou sur la terrasse a l’extérieur
Very open minded staff, no fuss just really good quality patisseries. In a city that is mostly focused on Burgundy traditional food it is so refreshing to see a place that welcomes those who are looking for vegan options. Thank you!
We were traveling through and decided to have breakfast here based on the prior review. We were told that for vegan dishes they normally take orders in advance, but the chef went out of his way to make us vegan raspberry cakes on the spot. Together with our capuchino with soya milk we were in heaven😄If you pre- order you probably have the choice of more types of cakes. Also plenty of seating at least in the morning.
Beaune is famous for its wine and food, the latter of which is mainly based with beef, snails, pork, chicken, eggs, butter and cream. While the town is charming in many ways, it's vegan Hell. Finally, a little Heaven has come our way with Thomas Bouvart's Patisserie which recently began offering passionfruit raspberry tarts, then cassis raspberry tarts and now chocolate mandarin tarts. All three delicious tarts start with a crispy crust (which has flaxseed as one of the ingredients) and then a very fine smooth fruit filling. The passionfruit and the black current tarts, have a strong burst of the fruit flavor, which is complemented by fresh sweet raspberries. The mandarin chocolate is my favorite, with a subtle delicate mandarin filling decorated with swirls of dark chocolate vegan ganache. Bouvarts is also 1 of only 3 places in Beaune, where you can order a vegan hot chocolate or cappuccino. The owners speak French, English, Spanish and a variety of Indian languages. Parul who manages the front is delightful. She's friendly and helpful. Her influence, I suspect was a driving force to experiment with vegan options in a geolocation so dependant on animal products. There are seats outside as well as in the back. A beautiful ceiling reminds you of what a Celestial experience these tarts are! The one drawback is that the non-vegans have discovered the vegan tarts so they sell out.
