Love this place! Wide variety and kind staff - Edit
I have been coming here since 2019. I love that there are now more vegan pastries than ever and they are well priced. The owner is very kind and so excited to see new customers. My favorite items are the almond raspberry filled pastry, cream horn, and the palmas (with chocolate). Vegan items are clearly labeled with a sticker and signage. Highly recommend checking it out, go out of your way if you must.

A lot of choice, but not fresh - Edit
We had some danish and apple turnover type of pastries. They were good, but not fresh. There really is a huge amount of vegan variety to choose from. But this might be part of the reason why they did not seem very fresh. There's no way they would be able to bake and sell all that stock each day.
Read moreI really appreciate the large selection of vegan options, but I think it may be better to have less selection and more freshness.
They were friendly.
Pros: Huge variety of vegan pastries , Friendly staff
Cons: Not very fresh

Food Allergy Pros - Edit
It's a small shop filled with a ton of desert options for even the trickiest food allergy combos. We were having a small office celebration and I wanted to bring a dessert item everyone could enjoy. I'm allergic to dairy, one coworker is allergic to lactose and gluten, and another is allergic to dairy, gluten, and almonds, making it near impossible to find a dessert item we can all enjoy. But! there were a ton of options here because they don't use almond flour as a gluten-free substitute (almond flour is a go-to replacement a lot of places unfortunately). The owner/baker spoke to me directly when I asked about ingredients and even made several suggestions. I bought a mixed pack of chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet cupcakes (and a gluten-free dulce du leche doughnut for myself to try). Everyone seemed to enjoy the cupcakes. They are definitely more of a one and done gourmet cupcake, not the sugar filled could eat several kind, which I appreciated. They were a litte pricey, but definitely worth it knowing they were safe for everyone. I will be returning.

Plenty of vegan treats to choose from here. They can even make vegan cakes if you need it. I ordered a few treats to go.

A must if you in Tacoma - Edit
I travel to Tacoma several times a year and this is the only place on my must visit list every time. There are so many options, the staff are super nice and the prices are excellent. My fav is when they have fresh hot churros, but you can’t really go wrong with the other vegan options. They also have a lot of gf options.

Sweet Vegan Oasis - Edit
I agree with another reviewer that vegan items are NOT an afterthought here. I would say half the store is easily vegan and includes donuts, cakes, danishes, churros, cookies, eclairs, turnovers, and cupcakes.
Read moreThe only reason I do not give five stars is because, sadly, on more than one occasion, I have purchased an item only to find mold on some of the fresh sliced strawberries that often adorn the cakes/cupcakes. It makes me wonder if the cold cases aren’t quite cold enough for the fresh sliced fruit to keep for prolonged periods of time…
That said, I would absolutely trust anything special ordered (which they do) and/or lacking fresh sliced fruit 😬 And if you do buy something with the fresh fruit, give it a good look over first!
Pros: Very sweet owner who cares about vegan options, Family owned/operated

Gem of a Bakery! - Edit
All the reviews and pictures are accurate. This place is a cool find! Roughly 80% of the baked items are vegan and clearly marked. The owner/baker (I assume that’s who he is) is very nice and helpful. We tried several items and all were very good. I personally loved the palm pastry dipped in chocolate the best. I would definitely give this place 5 stars if I could!

Most delicious cake I’ve ever tasted - Edit
I special ordered a Vegan Tres Leches cake with peaches inside. This was not only the most delicious vegan cake I’ve ever eaten, but also the most delicious cake period. It keeps well in the fridge for a week or more and eating the cake cold is even better than room temp with a few bites containing crisp peach. The owner was so helpful in arranging the time and details of the pickup and every aspect of the order.

Amazing! - Edit
We just went yesterday and I’d say that 80% or more of their items are vegan. Cookies, donuts, myriad of cakes, and breakfast pastries. Macarons that were bursting with flavor. Apple turnovers, custard and fruit pastries all delicious. Kalamata olive bread loaf was very good and he had lots of other options as well. The owner says people drive 3 hours for his products and I am not surprised. I’d been wanting to check this place out for about a year and wish I would have done it sooner.

Great selection & prices! - Edit
I recently heard about this bakery, and was so happy to find a huge selection of vegan sweets, there were 8-9 types of turnover/puff pastries, several different flavors of single cake slices, small tarts, cookies, a couple larger cakes. I ended up buying a slice of cake, some kind of fruit turnover, and a cream horn, all three of which totaled $10. I enjoyed them all and have gone back for more. Welcoming and friendly customer service, the man who runs this place is incredibly nice! He gave me extras with my last purchase (loaf of bread and macarons).

Delicious pastries for a great prices! - Edit
This place is fantastic, and the owner is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. It may look a bit unassuming from the outside, but don’t be fooled. I have brought lots of my omni friends pastries from here, and they are now obsessed and ask to stop by every time they visit me! The amount of vegan options is staggering. My favorites are the guava turnover and definitely the coffee cream horn!

Friendly little bakery - Edit
Finding this bakery wasn't easy. It's in a fairly industrial area and not well marked. The shop looks like a nondescript corner business. But I'm really glad I kept looking! At least half of the baked goods are vegan. I got some little butter-type cookies. Yum. They also had breakfast pastries (blueberry Danish, guava turnover) and a fridge with vegan cake slices and macarons. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

A whole case of vegan pastries! Items are labeled well. Very affordable and delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about vegans. They told us there will be fresh vegan donuts on Saturday morning. We got a guava turnover, elephant ear and he threw in a vanilla cookie for us - $5.50 total. We will definitely be back :)
