Tasty sweets

I had the *last* vegan sweet and it was very tasty. I believe pricing is fair. Central location.

Pros: Many vegan pastries, Good price , Nice atmosphere

Nice atmosphere, good deals

The entire vegan section of sweets is so nice! Each one of them costs under 2€ (more or less). A coffe is 0.80€, just to let you understand the great deals here. And the sweet, even if clearly industrial, are good enough!

Nice little cafe

Got there late in the day so not much choice. The maple pastry I had was a bit dry but just good to have the option! Hubby reaved over his non vegan cream cake. Lovely latte with oat milk

Pros: Separate vegan display, Plant milk

Vegan Portuguese food

I came here for breakfast and ordered the vegan toast. I'm giving a good rating because I appreciate the idea and the local twist to the toast - although I would prefer to have something else instead of the onion. The toast has carmelized onion, mixed nuts, vegan cheese and some herbs.
If I had more time, I would love to come back and try some of the pastries which are displayed in a separate case marked vegan and look delicious.

Pros: Lots of options, Fresh and tasty

Cons: A lot of onion in the toast

Pastelería muy rica

Buenas opciones veganas.

Pros: Opciones veganas, Barato

Great place to try the “pastelaria culture”

It’s great that a traditional place like this has a selection of vegan items and plant based milk for the hot beverages.
I tried the croissant, it’s like a Portuguese brioche croissant, so don’t expect anything flaky like a French one. It’s very good!
The pastel de nata though are not great, the pastry puff is not flaky and the filling is runny.
Coffee is good!

I loved to seat at the counter and watch the choreography of the waiters and waitress.

Some good some bad

Pastel de nata: worst I had in Portugal. Very runny and no flavour.
Croissant: taste pretty good. Not airy with layers like a normal croissant.
Mushroom filled bread: not tasty. The bread is very sweet. Would maybe be better warmed up.
Chocolate horn thing: very tasty
Nice to have a a place with vegan options that opens early in the morning

Can recommend

They have not much but a latte macchiato with soy milk (or almond) for 1,90€ is a good price. Everything is clearly labeled. Mostly sweet things. Crossaint doesn't taste like a normal Crossaint but still good.

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Not much savory stuff

Perfect cafe

Lots of vegan options and all clearly marked. Had some hot chocolate with soy milk and the pastries are delicious. The cafe itself is a cute set up and very comfortable to have lunch in, had to stop in twice while on holiday as it was so good.

Pros: Lots of choice

Disappointing

Only a little selection of vegan options. No pain au chocolat. We could try the vegan croissant but it was a big disappointment. Dry and no better than industrial/processed ones.
Vegetal milk options: soya and almond

Dedicated case of vegan pastries

Amazing to find a place with a while case of vegan pastries. The mushroom pastry sandwich and croissant were delicious. The de natas unfortunately were not the best- way too runny. The inside was soupy.

Nice choices

They have quite a big display of vegan sweets and also some savory options. In my opinion the sweet options were way too sugary, but I guess this is just Portuguese style even though there are other places that are less like that. Also, I didn’t liked the pastel de Nata… it was super liquid inside - I had a way better one in Lisbon at VegaNata. Anyways it’s nice to find a vegan pastel in Porto as well. The place itself looks pretty cute.
I came here at 8:30 and stayed about an hour. The place got crowded quite fast and the vegan options - especially croissants & pasteis de Nata got sold out pretty quick!

Pros: Lots of vegan pastries, Offers pastel de nata, Cute coffee place

Cons: Too sugary in my opinion, Gets sold out pretty fast

Vegan pasteis de nata!

Looking for traditional pastries? Definitively check this place. It is very busy, with a lot of local people coming mostly for pastries and coffee. Go there early, because the quantity is rather limited and can get sold out very quickly (I went to get the breakfast there and got the last vegan pasteis de nata on that day).

This place is definitively worth 5 stars and would give them if HappyCow allowed it.

Pros: vegan traditional pastries

Cons: vegan options sells out quickly

Amazing options

We went there to have breakfast everyday. Really nice variety of delicious portuguese vegan pastries. They also have vegan Francesinha and other lunch options. I would give 5 stars if the app would allow it.

Five star recommendation!

The app doesn’t let me give five stars otherwise I would. Amazing place, many locals, friendly staff and so many great vegan options! Not only pastries but also proper main dishes for vegans. We spent hours there because we liked it so much 😊

Delicious Nata

I grew up in a Portuguese family. Going vegan meant losing a lot of comfort foods. The pastel de nata here tasted so much like I remember. Made my little heart feel warm and fuzzy.

Good breakfast spot

We went around 9 o’clock in the morning and as you can see there was plenty of variety. The products are very tasteful and the sweet treats quite sugary (which is normal here in Portugal).

Pros: Affordable

Rico e variado

Moito tempo sen tomar unha palmeriña ou un bolo de crema! Estaba todo moi rico, aínda que hai un croissant mellor na cidade: o de Odete.
