Serves meat, vegan options available. Mediterranean and Turkish cuisine. Has hot and cold mezze and dishes that are vegan suitable. Specify to be sure. Open Mon-Sun 10:00-23:30.
The venue was clean and inviting with large windows looking out to the main street.
The menu was diverse from Mediterranean, Indian, Middle East to Scottish fare.
We had the best biryani and wholemeal naan and curries. So good!!
The service was prompt and helpful.
Overall, great food, serving portions were very good and portion adjusted to our request.
Well done.
This restaurant has recently been taken over and now serves Indian and Mediterranean food. Our starter was not great ( vegetable pakora )but the curries were absolutely amazing! We had vegetable madras and a vegetable dansak
The owner is happy to let you know what is vegan. He is very attentive and friendly, we have actually eaten in one of his other restaurants many times so when we seen it was him that had taken over we knew it would be a great curry.
Called in here on the 27th August 2020 and like a previous reviewer says, there are no vegan options. For some reason there’s milk powder in the falafel (I’m guessing they don’t make them in house.) The only thing they could offer was the veggie breakfast, with the eggs and sausage removed, but for the same price.
Enquired about vegan options and they said they may be able to do it but it would be one of there dishes with lots of subtractions and couldn't recommend it.
Another place to add to an array disappointments on the desperate hunt for lunch. Covid-19 may have something to do with it, but it is a shame that all the vegan options have dropped off the bottom of the menus.
We ended up here after a huge walk up Ben Vrackie.
Lots of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean vegan options such as falafel, hummus & aubergine salad, plus 2 main vegan options.
Great food & friendly service.

modest but passable - Edit
Staff are a little distant. The food wasn't massive in portions but the falafel was nice. Seemed a bit odd to have it with rice... all a bit dry.
Read morePros: somewhere that actually has vegan food!
Cons: generally no atmosphere. couldn't wait to get out
