Serves meat, vegan options available. Vegan afternoon tea available upon request. Also has some vegan food items as well as almond and soya milk for hot drinks. Open Mon-Sun 09:00-17:00.
Staff are very helpful and friendly - they offer their vegetarian options as vegan and know to use dairy free butter etc, they also do their milkshakes as vegan. But you have to ask - it’s not on the menu! (Or wasnt when I’ve been several times before)
The food was great and staff were very accomodating given the virus measures. I had the vegetarian breakfast with the non vegan stuff removed and really enjoyed it. I think they gave me extra mushroom to compensate which is always good cuz I like mushrooms a lot. The main drawback for me was that their website says meals can be veganised but their menu doesn't state how and given that the majority of meals were heavily meat based it was difficult to tell what they could offer as alternatives. E.g. they do serve dairy free milk alternatives but the menu doesn't say this at all. Given their current drive-thru ordering system this did make things a little awkward when we first arrived.
Attended for afternoon tea.
My husband booked so I don’t know how accommodating they were.
They offered soya/almond milks with the tea and the afternoon tea was amazing.
Cucumber sandwiches
Mushroom tart
Carrot spiced tart
Bruschetta (onion or tomato)
Bruschetta (hummus, mushroom and sweet chilli)
Scone (spread and jam)
Christmas cake
Mince pie
Chocolate orange tiffin
