Bacon isn't vegan - Edit
They put bacon on our vegan donut. The guy even-handed me our box of donuts and said here's your 6 vegan donuts. We didnt know till we got back to our hotel to enjoy them. Besides that, the others weren't good. Dry gluten free , yet drippy from the glazes. My kid didnt even finish hers, so you know they weren't good. The glazes did taste good, but the donut failed. .If you like gluten free, then by all means give them a try. Hate to give a bad review but need to warn my fellow vegans on the bacon.

A Few Vegan Donut Options - Edit
Was excited to come here and try one of their vegan donut options. I liked the open atmosphere and how close it was to the beach. We sat outside on the patio on a sunny day. I tried the blueberry glazed donut. It was small and not as tasty as I'd hoped. I would be open to trying a different flavor next time. I do appreciate that they have vegan options.

Several Vegan options - Edit
Parlor has several doughnuts that are Vegan. They are smaller and a different style than the traditional doughnuts but are still very good. It gets crowded but the line moves fast. They're also very close to the beach.

Disappointing - Edit
We were encouraged when we saw that almost every flavor was available in a vegan version. Turns out, though, that the vegan versions are on totally different donut styles that are kinda gross. Very cakey/dry/chewy compared to the non-vegan version that others in our party had.

Agreed, we were given the impression that they were similar to their displayed donuts but vegan. When we got to the pier to enjoy the donut we were extremely disappointed when we opened the box. The donut was a flat dry tasteless cake donut that looked like they poured Hershey syrup on. They should take lessons from the Donnutery, they are absolutely delicious and vegan.
