GIVE ME THE DONUTS!!!!!! - Edit
O my gravy. What a fun surprise!!! My husband surprised me with my first donut when he went to pick regular ones up for our group. I was so excited! He said, “I confirmed five times to make sure they were GF and Vegan because I was surprised they had them!” After my first bite I said, “You’re sure? Because this is SO good!” I had the donut covered in chocolate sauce/icing/glaze/whatever you want to call it, with chocolate chips. Let me tell you, I liked that paper wrapper clean! 😆

Our last day I stopped by but I was too late and they were already sold out for the day. I wish I would have known about Parlor earlier in the week because I would have tried SO many more! I’m so happy to find out it’s a chain and that there is a location in my home state not far from where my parents live. I will absolutely be becoming a regular when I visit them!
My husband was told that they could make any of their donuts GF and Vegan EXCEPT for the fillings and cheesecake.
I’m not sure why they have gotten poor reviews from other people on the app. I was super happy. 🤷🏻♀️

Disappointed - Edit
The non-vegan options look soo delicious and all my non vegan friends loved it. The vegan option is gluten free and not good at all! It's dry and blah. Would give 1 star but the toppings on top is delicious so gave 2 stars for the effort. The avocado toast is good, need to take the egg off. It's pretty expensive though but was delicious.

Nice they have a vegan option but not the best. - Edit
I was really excited about this adorable doughnut shop having a vegan option! It’s all very cute and the non-vegan doughnuts are the cro-nut variety, layered and fancy! I had high hopes for the vegan option. It turns out that all of their glazes are vegan. Turns out that they have one gluten “friendly”/vegan cake donut & you choose any glaze you’d like. The glazes are fantastic. I tried the strawberry shortcake and my son has the chocolate/churro. The doughnut itself was very disappointing. I’m not sure what gluten”friendly” means but I assume it’s gluten-free. The doughnut reminded me of the old school hippie 70s gluten free options that are dry and crumbly with an odd after taste. I’ve been vegan over 20 years and thought we had moved past that! There are so much better options nowadays. I’m so surprised that bakery clearly catering to hipsters is so behind the times on this vegan offering. I won’t be having a doughnut there again but I would come back later to try one of their milkshakes. Menu says that any of them can be made vegan!
