They have a menu they call plant based menu, but it is mostly vegetarian. And be careful as many restaurants in Banff have some cheese that could not be vegetarian as Grana Padano and other varieties and show dishes with them on a vegetarian/vegan menu.

The menu you get at your table makes it clear what's vegan vs vegetarian ( as opposed to the menu you get from the website), and we were happy to find that the tomato and vodka soup *is* vegan. And it was tasty!
Read moreThe vegan burger was also very good, as others have said. The patty is not mock meat, not a bean/pulses/vegetable burger like I've had anywhere else (homemade?) and had nice sauce etc.
Apparently the normal fries are not vegan, but our server asked us if we wanted the vegan fries. They were good, and looked much nicer than the fries we saw other people around us getting!

Very filling & tasty burger - Edit
I’d definitely return here for food. The burger was a “people know meat” patty. I’d never tried it before but really enjoyed it. Also, the spicy mayo that they have there is amazing with fries and its vegan.

The roasted carrots were delicious! The vegan burger and tofu salad were good. We were disappointed when our server notified us that a dish we ordered (tomato vodka soup) that was labeled on the menu as vegan wasn’t vegan. We are very happy that the server was proactive and double checked for us, hope they update their menu labels.

We had the vegan burgers with fries. Fries were skin on fries and were super tasty. Loves the avo in the burger. Not a fake meat burger.

Really fun with great wait service… top notch. Burger was great with crispy fries:) Yum! Gotta be decadent sometimes. Amazing selection of cocktails or course and lots of draft beer and non alcoholic beer and other cocktails.

Great number of vegan options and great atmosphere. Also very friendly staff but I explained my allergies to the server and he told me the food didn’t contain it. I asked him to check again because I wasn’t convinced and he said after checking with the chef, it was not safe and did have sesame in.

I was soooo sooo excited that they offered a vegan caesar, I haven’t had one in years and this one was pretty good and spicy! It was also really exciting that they had a whole plant based menu. I had the falafel bowl and it was delicious! Will be going back for sure!

I love having multiple vegan options on menus, and Park Distillery doesn’t disappoint. I got the park veggie bowl (without egg) and my partner got the tofu lettuce wraps. Both were delicious. They also have clearly labeled vegan cocktails
