Convenient for Paris Nord, but worth travelling to - Edit
Everything was delicious. We had Podi Dosa, Medhu Vada, and S Indian Thali. Everything was vegan. Highly recommend. Tastes as good as it does in South India, and possibly even better.

Authentic South Indian classics - Edit
We came across this place by accident, round the corner from Gare Du Nord. This is an authentic South Indian restaurant serving all the classics. We had masala paper dosas (main) and bhajis (starter). The food was as good as I have enjoyed anywhere (including in Chennai!). This place is the real deal. Very friendly & efficient service. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. It was great value at €9 for a dosa platter. This place is the real deal.

Really tasty, authentic, but beware! - Edit
I'm really torn on this review. I had such a wonderful meal; we went in for breakfast before a day exploring Paris and heavy travel back to the UK. We ordered the idly and vada platter plus a dosa to share, total of 27Euro for the three platters. The staff was really nice and was able to help us easily order vegan. It was a bit either take it or leave it, though, if it had dairy in it they didn't offer to accommodate for vegans. For instance, we had to have our tea and coffee black, there were no plant-based milks. Normally not that big of an issue, but they were spiced chai and really seemed to lack without milk. The food itself was so good and very authentic. The vada & idly platter and the dosa platter both come with the four sauces: sambhar, mint, tomato and coconut. Very filling and I was so delighted with our meal. My partner, however, barely ate anything as he had gone to the bathroom and found it very dirty and unsanitary which put him off. And, sadly, I should have listened to him, as I believe I got a mild bought of food poisoning. I can't say for sure, but I'm sure enough that I sadly would not return. It made our return trip home a real nightmare. A shame, because it was so great otherwise!

One of my favorite Indian restaurants ever! - Edit
I really really loved the food in this restaurant. It’s full of flavor and there are a lot of vegan options. The portions are huge and the staff is friendly. The prices are good as well. The interior is maybe not the most cozy, but that’s not that important in my opinion. I would really recommend eating here!

Excellent restaurant indien - Edit

Good, hearty food at a great price - Edit
I found the people friendly and helpful, even though they were really busy. There’s nothing fancy about the place itself, but the food is really tasty and excellent value. You can taste the individual spices (just like in good home cooking), there’s a good range of dishes and they can make lots of the dishes vegan.
Read moreIt’s really close to the main exit of Gâre du Nord so don’t walk past it if you fancy some cheap, tasty food.
Pros: Several delicious vegan options , Excellent value & nice people , Close to Gâre du Nord
Cons: A bit cramped - but do NOT let that put you off!!

Not 100% sure the curry was Vegan. Also they brought raita yoghurt sauce and suggested the milk tea after us having mentioned being vegan.

Excellent value for money - Edit
I keep going back to this place as it has a huge variety of vegetarian food - both North Indian dishes and a wide range of dosas. I love their starters - Gobi 65 is an absolute must for me. The food is reasonably priced and I’ve never been disappointed with the quality of an order.

Very good price for biiig portions - Edit
Although the personal did not speak English well enough to help me much, the menu is (mostly) well labeled and the food is amazing. Beware: The white sauce has, quote "just a little bit milk in it", which they did not tell me until I asked again skeptically.

It's definitely worth a visit. The food is delicious, way more then filling and really cheap. The staff is friendly and you can just ask them what of the menu is vegan and what is possible to make vegan.

Tasty authentic food - Edit
The staff were super friendly. One who spoke a bit of English and another who could easily talk through the whole menu and tell us what was vegan. Loads of choices. We had the vegan thali and a masala dosa. Both were super tasty and reminded us of being back in India. I was tempted to order more food, but the staff told us that'd probably be enough food to star with and they were right! 2 delicious meals and a beer for 22 euros was a bargain!

I ordered a vegetable biryana and bhaji to go, to take in the train with me. The biryani hardly had any veggies, and not much taste either. Same went for the bhajis, but there were a lot of them.

Delicious Thali - Edit
I’ve tried a couple of the Indian restaurants at Gare du Nord and this one is my favourite. It’s quite small and the staff is super friendly. I ate the South Indian Thali every time i was there as that was the first recommendation when I asked for vegan options. Its super delicious and has a lot of variety as it consists of so many small things.

Good South Indian food - Edit
This is a newly opened restaurant compared to the other line of restaurants on this road and we had gone for experiment which turned out great. A pure vegetarian joint. Went there 3 times. Good food and friendly staff and on requesting the chef made special jain dal for the next 2 days (the regular sambhar is not jain)
