Good plant based food

It was late but we wanted something light more like a snack so we decided to go to Paramount for some middle Eastern apps

We ordered
Lentil soup
Spicy potatoes
Eggplant
Food came with fresh bread
Everything tasted good and fresh

Pros: Many plant based options , Good service

Must Try

I can't say enough. Owner is a man with a story and a heart of gold. Very inclusive, this location has prayer rooms and a play structure for kiddos!

Vegan labelling is weird though as only certified vegan things get the stamp? But I know a lot more is.

Do yourself a favour and get the mezze plate with hummus, fsttoush, and Baba ganoush - it's all vegan. Top it off with the vegan wrap and you're set!

We frequent this one. Friendly staff. Meatless available at this location!

Been to several Paramount locations and the staff has not always been friendly/knowledgeable, except this one! Management is definitely doing something right at this location! We confirmed if the garlic sauce in the meatless chicken shawarma wrap is vegan and the server knew exactly how they make the sauce to state that it is in fact vegan. We noticed the servers are always so friendly at this location and accommodate requests.

Nutshell:
The meatless shawarma wrap -- addictive! (But would not recommend trying it plated as an entree.)
Their hummus, "Moutabal" (eggplant/baba ganoush style salad spread), and Mezza Plate (comes with the former two plus tabbouleh salad), are always great. They do a nice smoking flavour on the moutabal.
Lentil soup -- packed with flavour and comes with an interesting dried crunchy/crispy oiled pita bread roll to accompany, or break apart and place into it like croutons.

Their unlimited fresh-baked pita breads are nice but of course they're high carb/calorie -- but so good!

And lastly, another driving factor in returning there often is the fact that we leave feeling full at a low price!
