A bakery shop with some vegan things in the overall nice, but not vegan market - Edit
Vegan empenada was very tasty, also only clearly marked vegan thing. If u ask, they will tell you what is vegan. Onion or spinach pizza, some sweet rings.

Rare find for traditional Catalan sweets - Edit
It's not always easy to find traditional Catalan sweets that are vegan, but I've been a couple times to this place and they always have something to offer. There's a Latin American woman working there who's familiar with veganism and can point out some options.
Read moreLast time I bought some "cabell d'àngel". Cabell d'àngel means "angel hair", and is kind of like solid pumpkin jam with bread and sugar. This time I got some empanadas and "roscons d'anís" (anise doughnuts). Everything very nice.

Vegan Options - Edit
Tarragona doesn't have many options for a tourist on the go. The grocery stores are sparse and the restaurants have funky hours which makes the central market an ideal place to get a midday vegan snack.
Read moreWe chose a vegan empanada and an onion pizza from Paquita: a large vendor selling a variety of baked products. to our surprise, the vegan empanada had vegan meat--most likely Huera--with a mix of vegetables. The onion pizza was crispy and a little dry.
For a snack, the central market was ideal. I wouldn't say it has a lot of options, but travelers will rejoice.
