Mixed experiences

This is a new cafe in Malvern. There’s another branch in Worcester which is popular.

I’ve been three times with various people who wanted to try.

First time I just had cake… server told me they had three vegan options but when looked in the cabinet I only one had the vegan label. Nice cake, nothing special. Decent coffee.

Second time I went for breakfast but I knew I wouldn’t manage the full vegan so I asked them to do vegan avocado on toast as they have those items on the menu it’s just not a menu choice. It came, properly smashed avocado, nice sourdough bread. All good.

Third time… asked for the avo toast again - same server but must’ve been different chef. Got two dry pieces of toast and a chopped up bit of avocado! Asked for some dairy free spread… they’d run out. Asked for olive oil which they did have and I made it nice but it was a poor show!

I doubt they ever run out of dairy butter!

This won’t be somewhere I’ll be suggesting to friends to meet but tolerable once in a while if friend chooses it.

Cons: Not much choice, Terrible effort with avo on toast!
