Owner said, "Nothing is vegan here!"

Similar to the previous review, when I asked if a dish was vegan, I was told by the owner that nothing is vegan here. She raised her voice as she stated this and continued angrily explaining that she makes all of the food and sauces and they all have animal products in them. How angry she became from my asking this simple question was a bit bizarre. So, we left.

Cute, but I’d avoid

Based on the previous review, we tried to eat here. It’s super cute. Confusing when you enter. Go to the counter, and wait. If you want to dine in, tell them. We took a seat. The waitress finally came over, but was very clear that absolutely nothing can be made vegan. “Kind of vegetarian” was the most they could offer. She wasn’t able to tell us what that meant. They also upcharge $1.00 for each alteration/substitution/elimination to dishes. It was disappointing, but I appreciated her honesty.

Delectable!

It was my first time and I’ll be returning regularly…I had the cashew curry with shiitake mushrooms as my protein. I had the sticky rice - loved it!
This dish was drool-worthy.😛
Looking forward to trying their noodle dishes.
Disappointed that their crunchy spring rolls are made with egg. Obviously didn’t order them😢
(Is there such a thing as a vegan spring roll?)

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Beautiful ambiance

Cons: Mediocre service
