Food poisoning - Edit

Plenty of vegan pastries! - Edit
I'm so happy to have some comforting vegan pastries while traveling - so it's a great place in that matter. They also serve different coffees with almond or coconut milk. Enjoyed😄

Imposible decidirse 😋😋 - Edit
Estaba deliciosa. Cuenta con alguna mesa en el interior. Ideal localización, junto al museo Frida Kahlo.

Boston cream donuts! Peaceful cafe - Edit
Wow! Everything vegan! Sign me up! I was surprised to find many of the items individually wrapped in plastic -- but there was a pretty good selection, so I bought a doughnut for a post-Casa Azul pick-me-up and a cinnamon roll and a chocolate filled bar for later in the week. They have a nice dining area where you can sit and enjoy your purchase and a beverage, it was completely quiet in the mid afternoon when I went and peaceful. Very tasty and worth a repeat visit!

Mass produced Flavorless treats - Edit
I was excited at all of the options, I purchased a donut and a Guayaba Empanada. Both were disappointments. I have tried many vegan donuts in my life and this was by far the worst, it simply didn't taste like anything good, just mass produced fluff. The Guayaba pastry was a tad better but still nothing special. If you are used to vegan treats that feel like they've been made with love, avoid this place.

Lots of options, neither are tasty - Edit
Lots of vegan options, clearly labeled. We bought many different pastries, none of them were tasty. Waste of money and it's pretty expensive.

Huge variety of pastries! - Edit
Padaria 100% vegana e gluten free.

Very good bakery - Edit
They have some great vegan and gluten free options. Sometimes the texture is a bit weird, but the flavors are really good. Considering that Mexico City has very few vegan friendly bakeries, that definitely counts and makes Pan Gabriel even better!

Disappointing - Edit
Strange place - everything is in individual plastic wrap and seems kind of fake and processed. Quite a few choices but they all seemed hard and not fresh. Bought a pastry with fruit filling and chocolate topping; couldn’t finish it, was very plain, bland and stale tasting.

Pan seco - Edit

Tasteless an not fresh - Edit
The bakery is not fresh, and goods are often a few day old. Quite dry, as GF often is.
Read more*BEWARE* the coffee is NOT vegan and served with cowsmilk if you don’t say you want it vegan. A bit weird for a place that stated to be vegan.
You can get coffee to go or take a seat inside.
We were pleased to find it close to the Frida Kahlo museum as we had to wait there an hour for the rest of our tourgroup.
I still gave them 3 stars for trying. :-)
Pros: plenty of GF choice
Cons: serve cowsmilk, not fresh

Randomly stumbled on Pan Gabriel on our way to Frida Khalo's house from work the Metro. 100MX for a loaf of gluten free bread and 25 for a donut. Ours were fresh, just wished there was coffee to go with!

Not the best - but at least it's an option! - Edit
Has a wide range of all vegan baked goods which are all pretty cheap. I had a chocolate donut which wasn't particularly tasty or fresh-tasting. I was also unimpressed that every single item is individually plastic-wrapped. Very wasteful. Still, it's nice to know the option is there if you're visiting Casa Azul or Coyoacan in general.
