Serves meat, vegan options available. Has some vegan choices, mostly Italian. Upscale atmosphere calls for dressy attire. Check opening times before you go. Open Mon-Sun 12:00pm-12:00am.
Not a ton of options - actually really only one vegan option on the menu, the pesto penne (make sure to ask for it without butter). But a solid dinning experience.
This is a must if you're in the Vedado area of Havana. I'm vegetarian but my husband isn't and we both agreed this was awesome. There are a number of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu - I recommend the pesto pasta which is great and the black beans are really good too. Also, you have to try the chocolate brownie - simply the best I've ever had!
We had an enjoyable evening here in the back room with all of the cuckoo clocks (sooo many cuckoo clocks!! all on ticking at different times). There were four of us in our group all vegans and the staff took care of us. We enjoyed our somewhat odd mix of Cuban and Italian dishes for dinner. (You could probably order straight Italian or straight Cuban as well, but we wanted to eat our malanga and other Cuban goodies that we had gotten used to and also enjoy the opportunity to eat pasta.)
Abandon hope, all ye vegetarians who enter Cuba... Except for Restaurante Decamerón. This is your oasis. The "Ensalada Buena Salud" salad (3.00 CUC) is large, very good and served with high quality olive oil. The pesto pasta is excellent and is prepared with fresh vegetables. Pastas are 7.00 to 8.50 CUC.
I don't recommend the pizza, since the wheat in Cuba seems to be innapropriate for proper pizza dough (too soft). By the way, Decamerón may be slightly upscale, but they surely won't reject you if you show up in a t-shirt. Those who have visited Cuba as foreign tourists know the feeling: you feel you paid too much and got either mediocre service, food or both. Decameron is honest good value.

Nice Italian restaurant - Edit
Not a lot of vegan plates on the menu, but they made pastas with pesto. Nice ambiance. Good service.

Best meal I had in Havana. The usual menu for Cuba: salad, pizza, pasta. However, it was very clean, fresh and tasty. - Edit
