Nice Selection but Meh - Edit
I appreciated the variety and got the special 40 Year Old Vegan. It was gnocchi with eggplant and a bunch of other stuff... maybe too much other stuff. Overall it was way too salty for me and just okay. My partner's dish tasted so strongly of garlic that it overwhelmed every other flavor. Maybe we just had an off night but I was underwhelmed.

Great food, great entertainment - Edit
I loved being able to choose anything from the separate vegan menu. Was in a spicy mood, so I went with The Big Easy Vegan, and it did not disappoint! Plus, we were there on a Sunday night, and there was fabulous entertainment, very New Orleans jazz feel. Loved it!

Great vegan options! - Edit
A wonderful restaurant, that is so full of life! There are a good amount of vegan options, including the complimentary focaccia bread. Check their website for more vegan options as well. I enjoyed the 'Frank is vegan' pasta dish!

Not brilliant - Edit
Although I greatly appreciate that they have a vegan menu, they had no idea whether the wine (used in all of their pasta dishes) was vegan, which kind of put me off the pasta.
Read moreI tried the Buddha bowl which was pretty bland (possibly my own fault as a Buddha bowl is probably not their forte).
Overall, a great place if you’re veggie or omnivorous (the rest of our group loved their food) but for vegans it’s expensive food that’s not very exciting and feels like a bit of an afterthought. You’d do better to go to Be Love a few blocks away for better food (and save a few dollars while you’re at it!)
Pros: Vegan menu - they’re trying!, Great tasting house made focaccia on the table
Cons: Expensive for blandish vegan food, No idea whether wine is vegan or not

If it were possible, I would give 5 stars. - Edit
Unfortunately 5 stars isn’t possible, BUT, this was the best vegan meal I had in Victoria. They have a vegan menu with many, many options (the full vegan menu can be found online, the standard menu doesn’t list all of them). I didn’t check if they have vegan desserts because I was too full after the meal :,). I ordered Frank is Vegan and it was SO GOOD. We went at the end of happy hour and the aperol spritz were $6 and we got the tastiest focaccia bread with it (complementary- and vegan). The service was quick despite how busy it was and lovely server. Can’t recommend it enough.
