Read moreFor somewhere that only sells pizza, adding vegan cheese to the menu wouldn’t be a massive hardship. Will not be back until they have vegan cheese.

I had the vegan special (sun dried tomato, padron pepper, spring onion and basil) and it was surprisingly good if a bit over salted. Staff were excellent and very efficient, star deducted for the noise, the place was full and conversation was almost impossible.

Has a great reputation, but for vegans it feels a wee bit like you’re just getting less of a pizza for the same price when other than one standard vegan pizza you just have the option to remove cheese from other pizzas. Oreo cake good though.

First time at Paesanos - really enjoyed the vegan pizza I got! There was a vegan special on the board, but the servers were pretty helpful & explained about being able to make any of the pizzas without cheese. So I went for #6 on the menu - grilled peppers/spinach and added chilli peppers. It was very yummy!

I don’t get why this place has such a great reputation. The vegan pizza was awful. They claim their pizzas are authentic but I promise you they aren’t. Don’t waste your time and money here.

I usually see vegan-pizza-without-cheese as a last resort. Edible, but missing something crucial. But Paesano was GREAT. Really really great. They always have a vegan special (and can make anything vegan) - and even without vegan cheese it was some of the better vegan pie I have ever had. The sauce is super rich, the dough is a perfect balance of sourdough puff and crispness, and all the veggies were choice.

This is hands down the best pizza you can eat in Glasgow. Even though they don’t do vegan cheese you honestly do not miss it. The dough is perfect and the toppings are the best quality. They have a new vegan special every week!

They have 1 vegan pizza as standard (#1 on the menu) which I think is £5, they usually have a vegan special and said they could make any of their veggie pizzas with vegan cheese - when I visited last week they had a vegan brownie as well! Highly recommend, nice for a takeaway to eat in the botanics!

I went there a few times. I got really disappointed when I got the normal pizza (which is already very expensive). It has no toppings! I had the impression of eating bread and tomatoe sauce. I went a second time and took the special vegan (even more pricy!). This one was good and tasty. This place is also full of the time and you have to wait for ages. Even if the special pizza is good, I would not recommend to go there, the normal pizza contains nothing and the special is super expensive!

Only two options for vegan pizza. I think they could make more effort to come up with something tasty, or at least add vegan cheese to their pizza. I ended up with a bland pizza that felt like it existing to only tick a 'vegan' box.

This is a pizza place which makes great pizza (I had a vegan special with butternut squash and artichoke, which was amazing) but has so much lighting and such a loud atmosphere that you want to leave as soon as you are done eating. Prices are very good, so worth a visit if you want a quick and filling meal.
