Crazy good mushroom tacos - Edit
All the tacos were delicious, though the smoky charred maitake was superb. I enjoyed trying them all. Definitely try the elote, you won’t be disappointed. Everything was excellently prepared. Also really appreciated chatting with the owner, who is clearly very passionate about what he’s doing.

Exceptionally thoughtful and delicious cuisine - Edit
As long time vegans we have been to just about all of the vegan restaurants in the Bay Area, and our meal at Padron today stands out with the best we have had in years of tasting plant-based dishes. The food is simple but so thoughtfully and skillfully prepared we found ourselves repeatedly exclaiming in surprised delight. Chase, one of the restaurant creators, came out and chatted with us and shared that Miguel, one of the two chefs with whom he started this business, has worked at multiple Michelin star restaurants and it shows in the quality of the food (e.g. tortillas made in house from carefully sourced heirloom blue corn they hand grind).

Delish tacos! - Edit
I tried each of the tacos and they were all superb, fresh tortillas and great salsas! I went early on a Saturday to avoid any crowds, found a seat on the cool outdoor patio, and ordered from the QR code at my table. My yuzu mango agua fresca was amazing too!

Phenomenal vegan tacos! - Edit
Walk to the back of the building to get to the restaurant. For dine in you can order at the bar or online. There's a great back patio area to eat at! My favorite was the Barbacoa Mushroom taco, it's fantastic and my favorite taco that I've tried in Oakland. The Sweet Potato taco has great texture and flavor too. Staff was very friendly and service was wonderful. Bathrooms were clean. I'll definitely be coming back again soon!

A well hidden gem - Edit
Mushroom tacos are everything! I had two tacos and a bowl. I wish that I wasn't in a hurry. The ambiance and staff were delightful. I can't wait to go back!
