Ovo
Thai
Non-veg
Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant with many vegan options including spicy Thai basil, drunken noodles, and yellow curry. Tofu is available for most dishes and when ordering a dish with tofu, the restaurant already knows to omit fish sauce but it's a good idea to confirm. Open Mon-Fri 11:00am-2:30pm, 4:30pm-8:30pm, Sat-Sun 12:00pm-8:30pm. Hours can vary. Call ahead to check.

Great portion sizes - Edit
Drunken noodles and pineapple curry hit the spot. Ask for your dishes to be made vegan. The chili sauce is very spicy so add with caution lol learned that the hard way but overall delicious food

Great tofu curry - Edit
Got some yellow curry with tofu and veggies that was delicious. Veggie options were clearly marked and everything was reasonably priced. The restaurant itself is very cute, staff is nice and they have nice outdoor seating. Overall a very great meal!

Delicious Curry - Edit
Although the vegan options are not clearly labeled, the staff are knowledgeable about vegan food restrictions. The pineapple curry was amazing with sticky rice!

Tried the Pra-Ram Tofu with Thai Sticky Rice and the Vegetarian Delight with White Jasmine Rice. Absolutely delicious! Would go again!

Ok options - Edit
I will preface this by stating that I’m already not the biggest fan of Thai food myself, so take that how you will.
Read moreThis restaurant is located in a great area and is also very cute on the inside. Staff was very friendly and nice.
I got the spring rolls as an appetizer. They were super fresh and came with a peanut sauce and sweet and sour sauce.
I ordered the pra-ram tofu and added broccoli. The peanut sauce was good but imo they added way too much of it. I would request it on the side. The veggies were nice and fresh and didn’t seem frozen.
In total, the meal wasn’t bad but it definitely wasn’t anything to write home about. Still, I’d give this place a try if you enjoy Thai food. They have been open for quite some time and have many “Monterey best” awards- so that definitely says something!

Delicious Thai food - Edit
I had a very delicious lunch at Pacific Thai today and will definitely come back again when I'm in the area.
Read moreWe ordered the Thai Basil dish with tofu and Drunken Noodles with tofu. When I asked about having them omit fish sauce I was told that they automatically do that when people order tofu with their dish. It's always good to ask but it's comforting to know that they get that some of us want nothing to do with fish sauce.
The restaurant is very attractive and they also have seating outside along the sidewalk.
There are signs posted on their window that this restaurant has won the Best Thai restaurant category in the Monterey County Weekly for many years.
I definitely recommend this restaurant.
