Grab and go! - Edit
Bakery has vegan options and delicious! Had the vegan pumpkin muffin and chocolate peanut butter zucchini brownie! Wow! $4 each which is cheaper than the cafes around. Grab and go wraps are great too!

Grab a smoothie on your walk! - Edit
This is a super cute and clean health food store that is right in the center of town. It's a great place to pop in for a smoothie, acai bowl, or a muffin and coffee while you're walking around town. Their products are pricey, but probably have to be, given their location. It's nice that they also carry plenty of supplements, household, and baby products in addition to food.

Health Food Store right next to beach - Edit
I was delighted to find this health food store about a 10 minute walk from Carpinteria State Beach. In the back of the store they offer a few sandwich options, made in house, one vegan option called, "Avocado" which uses vegan mayo. They claim they only use vegan mayo on all their sandwiches. They have a "lettuce bowl" and several smoothie options and acai bowls. Their store carries a little of everything. Bright and clean store with friendly staff.
