OMG! Hidden gem. This was the BEST pizza ever. The garlic knots are to die for. The service was great. I'm definitely going to become a regular at this place.

Best vegan pizza in clearwater - Edit
every time I come here they’re so nice and accommodating. The last time I stopped in, they gave me a bigger size than I ordered and asked if I wanted to do half of something else on one side of the pizza their garlic knots are awesome The only place that I can find in Clearwater that I actually like in the cheese is good and doesn’t taste like plastic. They also have vegan ice cream options.

GREAT VEGAN OPTIONS - Edit
Great Buffalo and Ranch Garlic Knots. Pizza had a great taste with a thin, crispy crust. Was amazed at all the vegan options. I thought it was a bit pricey. Seemed anything vegan was higher price than pizza with meat toppings. I would go back again just not as often because of the prices.

Super disappointed - they use items from the frozen aisle - Edit
I'm trying to figure out how this place has more than 2.5 stars on happycow. Normally this site comes through with honest feedback, but this was a huge letdown. I don't like to normally complain but I downloaded the happy cow app just to leave this review. We were visiting family in Florida and we're hoping to hit up a good pizza place.
Read moreThe pizza was okay but very overpriced especially since it was burnt. It was a thin crust which we were cool with. Ordering a 16 inch vegan pie? You'll get a 12 inch but you'll be charged the 16 inch. Their specialty vegan pies are thin crust and they're not loaded with toppings so for 35 dollars I was a little shocked to see what we received.
We ordered the vegan eggplant parm and received 4 slices of eggplant with some marinara and cheese on top. Not even an over exaggeration. The eggplant was a thin cut too. It was like four small paper thin eggplant slices with cheese baked in a 9x9 aluminum disposable pan....for 15 dollars. I wish I was able to attach a picture here.
The vegan buffalo bites? They're just frozen vegan chicken patties cut into quarters. For 10 dollars, you get two patties, or 8 sections. I was so upset.
I realize restaurants are trying to offer more vegan options but for the love of God stick to what you're good at - the pizza and the garlic knots. This place is garbage for all other vegan options, and even then you're going to pay a lot for your vegan pizza and it might be burnt like ours was.
I'll say the seasoning used on the pizzas and the garlic knots was fire. Delicious. Their marinara was slammin. I wish for 120 dollars (2 pizzas, garlic knots, eggplant Parm, vegan buffalo bites) we couldve enjoyed it a little more. I would never recommend this place to anyone unless you're in the mood for overpriced frozen food with a decent slice of za

Pros: Their seasoning blends on their pizzas is on point, Garlic knots are top notch

Vegan Pizza!!!!! Deserves 6 Stars! - Edit
As I walked in, I have to say at first it seemed cluttered. The only thing I will say about that is; decide what you want in a restaurant. If you want white washed homogenized cookie cutter every restaurant with no personality and tasteless food, go eat at Chili’s. If you want an interesting experience and fabulous food prepared with love for their craft by warm caring people, then sit down, enjoy the memories on the wall and maybe play a game of chess while you wait. The amazing smells compelled me onward. We saw the menu online noting to bring cash but chose to order in restaurant, because the menu is so extensive it was overwhelming. This, in hindsight, was our mistake. As everything is made fresh, it’s not fast. If we had ordered from home we could have cut our time waiting in restaurant. There are board games & video games(free) to play while waiting. Great if you have kids with you. Our food came out. As a long time vegan, and a 50 year old woman who watches calories, I have not had a pizza for maybe 20 years. I chose this restaurant because my daughter wanted to go. I ordered the “ burner” pizza “ 90 calories per slice” made VEGAN. It was phenomenal. As memorable as the food I had in Las Vegas or in NYC. I appreciate that calories are listed. I wouldn’t eat otherwise. I do not guess. I feel with some work that Ozona & Pizza Mike could Franchise this restaurant. My daughter loved her vegan pizza, garlic knots & brownie. My husband enjoyed his non vegan pizza. The owners are wonderful warm people. I am glad we came & will be back.
Read more**Outstanding online system of ordering as well as table reservations. Very tech savvy. 💻
**As a side note, let me just say that after reading some reviews from VEGANS who complain about the price; FOOD IS EXPENSIVE. Please do not ask why good food is expensive, but rather why cheap food is cheap. You are what you eat. Don’t be cheap, fast or easy. Finally, as a long time 🌱 vegan, I remember when vegan at a restaurant was lettuce with no dressing & maybe a slice of tomato. I remember the first awkward attempts at soy cheese. It wouldn’t melt at all, but I was grateful to have it. I come to this Nirvana of utopian vegan foods & I hear a vegan murmur any complaints, I think how self righteous & entitled this vegan must be to feel they are owed vegan perfection at bargain price. Shame for not supporting your vegan enterprises & shame for lack of living or even respecting the struggle brought us to this place.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌱

Awesome 'Mom and Pop' style local pizza place. Ozona caters for every dietary need, including vegetarian, dairy free and gluten free. They now have an entire dedicated vegan menu, complete with Daiya cheese and Beyond Meats, that you can check out on their website! Love the vegan California Pizza. I brought my parents here (both meat eaters) when they were visiting from abroad and they agreed, it is some of the best pizza they have ever tasted. Everything is made from scratch so if you can, order up to an hour before you arrive. It is a little pricey, but so worth it, and the portions are large. And yes, the garlic knots are to die for.

Amazing vegan pizza! - Edit
We loved everything we ate at Ozona Pizza. App won't allow 5-star rating because they aren't fully vegan but they deserve 5-stars! Their vegan menu is lengthy with plenty of pizza and topping varieties to choose from. We had the garlic knots, Cali pizza and cinnamon sugar knots. Everything was absolutely delicious. We drove about 40 min to get there and will definitely be going again.

Despite some bad reviews I had a great experience. - Edit
I think this place may have gotten a bad rap. I read through some of the reviews and don’t find them to be valid. This place is cluttered but makes me feel like an NYC Pizzaria family oriented and welcoming though small. Nothing appeared dirty to me and the food was excellent though some things were a bit pricey. As far as the cheese comment goes what’s this guy gotta do make his own vegan cheese also?! Of course he’s using follow your heart and daiya like every one else. The owner seems like a very friendly hard working guy, they may even consider going fully vegan in the future. COMEON REVIEWERS! Cut this guy some slack there are not a lot of places serving vegan at all let alone a 3-4 page menu just for vegans! Buffalo garlic knots were AMAZING! There best garlic knots I’ve ever had anywhere pre and post vegan! Great Job Mike!

The Worst!!! - Edit
This restaurant is gross! It has vegan options but the food was Horrible, overpriced, the restaurant unclean, the sevice was non existent. I am suprised that they haven't been shut down by the health department. The crust on the pizza was so hard & overcooked that it couldn't be eaten. The worst restaurant I have ever been in my Life! You could not pay me to eat there again!!!

Good vegan options - Edit
I visit my in-laws every year and discovered Ozona Pizza a few years back. Good to see real vegan options in a area that is overall lacking (compared to where I’m from). Loved the knots....it’s the only time/place I can get them from.

Okay I'm hooked - Edit
I've been vegan for a while now and one of the biggest things I've missed is pizza. The frozen brands are just not that great and most pizzerias have mediocre offerings. Everything changed yesterday when I tried Ozona Pizza. They have a whole vegan menu. The pizza was fantastic and the garlic knots outstanding! Finally found a go to pizza place!

best vegan pizza ever!!! - Edit
Wont let me rate 5, but definitely 5 stars! Ozona is vegan paradise! Its got a small town vibe and everyone is so nice! I don't think I've ever made so many inappropriate noises while eating lol. So many different options to choose from, which is rare for vegans! Just a down home feel, great people, and beyond delicious food! Definitely worth a long drive and the wait for handmade! For almost the same price of a pie at mellow mushroom, you get a TON more options at Ozona!

First time to Ozona. The garlic knots were amazing. I barely wanted to eat any of the pizza I ordered but it was good too. Scene is very beach/small town and cozy. Will definitely go back.

Not worth it! Will never go back! - Edit
I am not one to write bad reviews but after leaving here I just had to express how disappointed I was with Ozonas. We ordered 2 vegan gf pizzas, a salad and garlic knots. Which cost $85!! Are you kidding me? I thought these better be the best pizzas I’ve ever had in my life (NOT AT ALL!) All they did was throw Follow Your Heart cheese and Beyond Meat toppings on it which I can do myself for half the price!! They charged an extra $5 a pizza cause it was GF crust wtf. The kid said order would be ready in 35 mins. Took HOUR AND HALF. And they FORGOT to make the salad had to wait longer for that. The owner instead of apologizing says “Never expect things here to be quick” . Um okay ... Sorry to add one more piece of disappointment ... the restaurant is a DIRTY mess. Toys, dust, curtains hanging, unorganized CRAPPP everywhere, kid running around with NO SHOES ON! Clean up you place! You serve FOOD! If charging so much for your food put it into making your restaurant comfortable and clean!

Garlic knots and pizza - Edit
The garlic knots are amazing and come with a superb ranch sauce. The pizza crust is wonderfully crunchy and chewy. The toppings are always premium and plenty of variety. The food is great, but the best thing about this place is that the owners are actively looking to give us vegans more options. I hear an Alfredo sauce pizza is on the way. Can't wait to try it.

very very good, albeit pricey, vegan pizza options - Edit
Ozona Pizza is definitely a rare find in this area. Compared to another popular vegan-friendly chain pizza restaurant slightly south of here, I would much rather eat at Ozona any day of the week. The crusts are well-made, they have a variety of options to choose from as far as toppings and specialty pies go, and they have a ton of vegan options for their bread knots (the garlic ones are fantastic but my sense of decency prevents me from trying the other flavors) and 15 pizza varieties so far that include plainer veggie options to mock meat and a few different sauce options to choose from. They also look to have recently added vegan dessert options as well.
Read moreLast time I was there, the vegan menu is separate from the regular menu, so make sure to ask for it, or you can check out their options on their website.
The biggest downside to this restaurant is that it is the priciest pizza place in town, but it's a small family-run business and they are always friendly and upbeat. I would definitely suggest getting your pizza to go because the seating area is very cramped and the AC runs as little as possible!
Pros: Large variety of vegan options on menu, Very good pizza, made in front of you, Local establishment and family-run
Cons: Not great as a sit-down restaurant, Pricey

Best Garlic Knots Ever! - Edit
Our family stumbled upon this hidden pizza gem a couple of months ago and I have been eager to come back ever since. Last time we tried the buffalo garlic knots, today the Cajun. They are amazing. The shop is quaint and funky, and you know you are about to get a good pizza as soon you walk in and smell the aroma. The crust is crispy, the sauce tastes very fresh and there are lots of toppings to choose from, including tempeh and beyond meat. The owners are very welcoming and friendly, I especially enjoyed conversing with their brilliant five-year old!

I adore this place! We recently found out about Ozona Pizza on Happy Cow and went that night to try it out. I'm used to a serious hike to get vegan pizza and now I can get it in my back yard. The food is delicious and there are options (such a novelty when it comes to eating out...). The vegan garlic knots are out of this world. Even better, the place is owner run and the folks who own it are kind and truly care about their customers.

Excellent Vegan Pizza, The best! - Edit
Very Fresh made to order. The Owners are very aware of potential allergies, intolerance etc. They offer a gluten free vegan pizza. It was incredible. They use Daiya mozzarella cheese. The pizza was dairy free egg free, Gluten Free and soy free. I was so impressed. They made Vegan Garlic knots for our table that were also excellent. I have not had a better meal in Palm Harbor in a long time. They also have Gluten free beer options and ciders as well as local brews from Ybor city and Dunedin brewery. I prefer to eat gluten free and was surprised they offered it. I wish them well. They also had gluten free ice cream cones and ice cream that was also vegan. Their regular vegan pizza and vegan topping options are amazing as well.
