Beautiful Restaurant in the Countryside

This restaurant is well worth the drive out which is just out past the agro centre and up the mountain a little, on a popular cycling/running/hiking route. The food is the same as the branch of Food 4 Thought in the city, so if you know that branch you can expect the same which is slightly higher than average prices but large, hearty and tasty dishes.
The vegan options are well labelled throughout the menu and they've gone to a good effort. It isn't just the usual fare. The Damned Hippy Breakfast is a good plate - normally you get vegan egg (scrambled tofu) but they were out on my visit so I got roasted pumpkin instead, which is what you can see pictured.
It is a great place to take kids or your dog as there is so much nature around all around and so much to see. It is such a pretty and romantic kind of place and you could find yourself sitting here for hours, as I did. There was even enough to keep my one year old amused for all that time.
One warning is that it gets very busy around lunchtime at the weekend so be prepared to wait a while or go early or later.
Can't wait to visit this place again.
